Yes I am here struggling for my life with Covid 19
I will tell you that the nurses cna’s staff are the most
Talented and hard working people I have ever seen !
They are professional and loving 🥰 I’m so glad to be here I’m safe and all my doctors have been fantastic and professional. They are dedicated to keeping me breathing!

I've had a wonderful experience here. The doctors and nurses are absolutely perfect. My nurse Cheryl was an angel. The fourth floor is the greatest.

The security guard or parking guard, whatever he is, is on a ridiculous power trip. I had dropped off my elderly mother for an appointment on Friday March 1st, 2024 in the AM and went to pick her up when was finished. She called me and told me she was on the way outside so I waited in the small drop-off zone in front of building on Quincy street. I was there waiting not even a couple of minutes and dude comes out with an attitude saying I can't park there. I told them I am picking up my mother from her appointment whose already done and coming down. He said it doesn't matter I can't wait there. I wasn't even "parked" and was not blocking anyone in since no one else was there to drop off/pick up. So I asked him sarcastically "So she has to be physically outside waiting before I can pull in here?" and he says with an attitude "yes". Some people cannot handle the smallest bit of "power" like this a*hole. I literally circled the block and when came around my mother was coming out and a*hole guard no where to be found.

Worst experience, shame on the nurse stations on 4th Telemetry. Rude and lack of communication with patient and family members! Do better and clean house! How can it be ok to have people sit on the floor bc you're too lazy to find a chair! How can you not know where the patient is after surgery?? Why add stress to families that are already worried? Where is your empathy? This location is a nightmare!!!!! If you can avoid this place, go to a different hospital!

We had a horrible experience leaving after my husband had had an exploratory treatment for heart disease. We were on the fifth floor for almost 24 hours and for the most part we found the staff kind and helpful. Maria and Isabelle, nurses on that floor, in mid August 2013 seemed the most efficient and caring. RN Christina in the last part of our stay made our life agonizing. She told us point blank that we would wait 2 and 1/2 hours before she could even begin to check my husband out. Two and a half hours later she had not even opened the file as it was handed to her by another nurse when I went to the desk to inquire. She had other patients checking out too, she said; we just had to be patient (no pun intended, I think). My husband, a very patient man, finally stood up and said, "That's it. I'm done." When they saw the family leaving, the paperwork was completed five minutes later. Go somewhere else.

This was the worst hospital stay for my father. His nurse, Cheryl was very rude and should not be in Health Care. I called to get information on my father’s care and she stated “she didn’t know what I was talking about”. She also told me that she didn’t have time to be arguing with me when she was rude to everyone. This happened 1/1/21. What a way to start the New year

Horrible experienece. My OBGYN Dr Chen is an amazing doctor but sadly only delivers at baptist. We went in at 7am to be induced and the nurse didn't start me on pitocin or ivy until 930am. Then to mention they pooled me wrong and kept poking me wrong. I left looking like a damm heroine addict. The nurse pursued me to get an epidural when I told her my pain was controlled. So she said I had to get it by 3pm because the anesthesiologist wouldn't be able to do it after due to doing c sections. Okay I got it done. Well only my right side got numb!!! I let her know and she said by then being 430 that the anesthesiologist was in a c-section already. I waited half numb from 330 pm until 530. Only for the anesthesiologist to come and shoot me with a heavier dose and completely numb me to the point I felt I couldn't breathe. They said it was normal. At 330 when I also got the catheder put in I started bleeding, being only at 5cm. My rn said it was normal. So I bled from 330pm to 750pm. When they did they're rounds nobody checked if I was dilated more. So my doctor came to find my baby's head ready at 750 pm. I pushed 3 times and my baby was born. I was having a hemorrhage and my doctor was not happy. He said my rn had only called him in the morning when she started my pitocin. What kind of nurses work here that they let u bleed and pie about checking u? Idk what would've happened if my OBGYN hadn't walked in to check on me. And to top it off they suck at assisting u after when ur in pain. My baby got circumsized and they said they would come in every 30 minutes or so to monitor on him and were still waiting to be discharged. Go somewhere else. RNS are mean, don't care, CNA'S don't care either they're so rough when checking babies every 4 hours. Food is horrible, tasteless and waiting to be discharged home can take forever.

Too much in-house politics, rudeness and very unprofessional. In for heart procedures.

Most horrible experience ever with a few exceptions, Dr. Meman ( not sure if spelled right) but she has one of the poorest bed side manners that I have ever encountered. A friend I ran into the day before said she wouldn't send anyone to baptist. Our experience here was just awful. Would not reccommend this hospital to my enemy, you are treated as a case as opposed to a human with real needs. The Doc told my sister all her pain in her head after an amputation.

Worst hospital experience. All they care about is making money. No one there cares about healing or patients.
