Kemptown Park

Great park and the playground was wonderful!
Nice clean restrooms and great maintenance! We hold our family reunion here and each year it looks as good (if not better) than the first year.

Very nice and expansive park. Main purpose is the ball fields, but there's plenty to do besides them. There are three playgrounds (plus a couple playsets at the fields) that are ideal for smaller children. The sections are connected via paved pathway and there's a nature trail through the trees (especially nice on hot days).

Was a bit confused about getting to the park, but after I got there it's pretty self explanatory. Seems to be a safe park and a great location for the playground. The volleyball net is okay, although I would not reccommend if you are playing competitively. Overall nice!

This park is great for gathering with family and friends. The pavilion offers electricity and is close to the restrooms. The playground was an added bonus for the kids no matter the weather.

Beautiful park behind a school with public pavilions and bathrooms. My son ran in a great cross-country meet there!

Off the beaten path, beautiful huge area and great playgrounds. Bring a picnic!

Lovely little park! Great jungle gym and pavilion area. Forested so there was some shade. Port-o-potty’s available.

This park is amazing. Even though they are making some changes right now so some of the walkways are not done yet, but my kids had a great time here! Each playground is labeled with the ages of the kids that should be able to play on them the best. From a couple years old up to almost an adult size. My kids really enjoyed being able to walk to each playground and see what there was different to play on. Truly a great park 😊 I recommend bringing your children here to play because it's also quiet and in a safe area so you can truly just enjoy playing with your children without worrying who is around

Great area and loved the hiking trails

First time I went here was back in 2006 while my siblings have just took gymnastic lessons. I’ll explain the topics from my 2023 revisit down below.

This is a well run park with an amphitheater, baseball fields, room to play soccer, some small trials. We have hosted 5 k runs and color runs here along with church activities. There are usually not too many people at the park so that is nice. It also has tennis courts.

Nice park, tennis, trails, 4 playgrounds of varying size. Even a little stage if you want to act out a play. It's a good time, well maintained.

Beautiful location with several large covered area for groups and available grills. Great play equipment on play area for children. Large clean bathrooms close by and plenty of convenient parking.

Wonderful park. I just hope they don't change it too much. Last time we went there they had just removed several of the large trees near the playground in the back. My advice and request to Frederick County, would be to not change anything; the removal of those trees was a mistake.

Cool park near my house with trails a lot of play jyms and field field with a stage. Sports you have Kick ball fields, tenis and basketball courts all kept in good condition

Two of the parks are new and awesome, and there are nice trails to walk along!

New playground equipment and great open areas for games. Good short hike locations as well.
