The food here is delicious! Gumbo, gator bites and charbroiled oysters. Fried okra was the best I've ever had!!

First time going there and not disappointed! We had a large table of people and we were all taken care of 😁. Very friendly staff. Good food. Love the live entertainment (band)!

Dinner is served. Awesome!!! Fish and shrimp platter with onion rings and fried okra.

Maggie was very friendly and courteous. She gave a great recommendation, took my order and brought my food to my car. Thank you Maggie for wonderful customer service.

The view from all the huge plate windows allows unfettered views of the outdoor area and the adjacent golf course. Parking us great.
The abundance of palm trees makes you think you are on the coast.

There is a great bar area. Very comfortable stools to sit on.

They rent the building from the golf course.

Excellent Food and Service! Our family tried for the first time yesterday afternoon and were very pleased! This is everything a good southern restaurant should be; well seasoned, great flavor and atmosphere. If ever back in Houma, we will be back!

The food was awesome! Good selection and everything was fresh and hot and seasoned perfectly! Absolutely a must stop place! Also theu really do have a little critter in the pond but the parking lot lol

Good place to eat when you’re visiting the area! Loved the food and our server, Ian, was amazing! Very attentive and professional positive attitude. We felt right at home during our time there. We will visit again when we’re in Houma! :)

Excellent experience!!! First time here and I will definitely return. The ambience is incredible. Shout out to Tara, she was a delight, funny, courteous, most awesome. The food was almost perfect. My only negatives, very slight, hoteses were a little short on patience and the char grilled oysters were a bit over done. So stop in and come say hi.

Such a great experience. The server was super nice and once he learned we were from out of town and adventurous eaters he started suggesting things for us to try. We went specifically for crawfish and we got a fresh pot. Also had alligator bites (interesting) and a legit bloody mary with all the fixins.

Food was great, fried shrimp tasted super fresh. Everyone was super friendly as well.

My wife needed a break from working at home. So, I took her out to eat dinner. We had been waiting for the restaurant's reopening. We really like the new location. We were seated almost immediately. Sierra, our server, took care of our table. She was very polite and made sure our food and drinks came in a timely manner. The food was real good. It's worth the money, and the portions were generous. We live in Patterson, but it's worth the drive to get some southern hospitality and Cajun cuisine.

Come here every time we are in town from Maine. We usually have a large group and they are very accommodating! I always get the alligator bites! Everything is always great!

Visited on 2/13/2021 for some boiled crawfish and snow crab legs and to see the Chicken on the Bone band live. Tasty food, cozy atmosphere, unique decor, nice patio seating with stage. Enjoyed every second of our visit. Thank you, Cajun Critters!

great place to eat. the service is outstanding and the portions are huge. the fried oysters were so good and the duck strips are amazing

love the food. but lately fried food has been very slow coming out. having Elvis show up for entertainment made the wait enjoyable!

The food is absolutely amazing, the staff are fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is just so laid back that you feel like you're in the backyard at a family get together
