Such a cute place!! Decided to stop for a quick sweet treat and I’m so glad I did. They had a great selection of flavors! After sampling a few I decided on the Cookie Monster and cherry flavors. Cookie Monster is a must try!!! Lots of candy and other goodies to try as well.

Nice outdoor seating. The overall vintage vibe is incredible!

This is the best little home town ice cream shop in the world!!!!🍨🍦🍧🍬🍭I've been going there since I was a young girl and even when I have lived out of state I still have thought about this place. They have not only ice cream but they also have many many different types of candies and they also make shakes and hot cocoa and have ice cream cakes too. It's a very cozy and comfortable place to go to. Family oriented. Great for a date. It fills all needs. Will always bring my children there.

No need to get to wordy here... just go in tell them what flavor in what kind of cone (yes they have many rypes of cones) you want and give them the money... doesn't matter how they ask for just hand it over!! Yes it's that good old fashioned hand dipped waffle cones can't beat it.

If you're looking for a place that take you back in time then this is it. The look is like something out of the movies. It has lots of old candies and snacks. Now the prices aren't from back in the day but the look is. It's so cute. I went there strictly for the pecan egg ice cream bc my husband loves those candies so I said why not try the ice cream, he loved it

Always a good place for my late night ice cream cravings. The cake batter will always be my favorite. Even if I ask for one scoop, the owner kindly fills up my bowl or cone.

Stopped by Scarlets after dinner since our fishing guide (Reelin Good Charters) recommended it! Service was quick and the ice cream was delicious. I ordered the Creole Cream Cheese and was pleasantly surprised. Place was busy, but we were in and out quickly!

If you're out driving around in this area, it's worth the drive. I had King Cake ice cream and the cream cheese ice cream. Ask them which ones are made in the store. Super cute in a small town.

Love this place! I’ve been going here for banana splits for over 30 years. Bluebell ice cream, homemade waffle cones, great nostalgic candy selection! Can’t beat Scarlet Scoop!

I love the cuteness of this place. It has a historic feel every time you walk in the door. The ice cream is so good with all the toppings you can imagine. This place even carries old school candies that you can not find anywhere else. Brownies are made here 𝗗𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 and priced to sell. My favorite is the 2 scoop waffle bowl. Scarlet scoop is like no other ice cream place around.

I Brought 11 Family Members and I had a Double Scoop Rocky Road, in a Chocolate cone, covered with nuts. Delicious.
I paid $60.00 plus a $10.00 tip, Everyone enjoyed their Icecream.

This place has been open since the 70's and I absolutely love the history of the place. My dad grew up here in Houma and he's been going there with my grandma since he was 6 years old! The ice cream is delicious. They have tons of flavors and also tons of old fashioned candy and soda! It's like a trip through a time machine. The atmosphere is great and so is the service! I absolutely adore this place and hope it stays in business for a long time.
