The Yurts are wonderful. Clean and comfortable, I brought my Girl Scout troop and we stayed in the three yurts and it was perfect for the 10 of us! The campground was clean, safe, tons of activities to keep the girls entertained. I would come back here in a heartbeat!

Little Bennett Campground was a nice place to stay while visiting friends and family near DC. The staff was proactive and professional. I want to especially thank Emma for her kind smile every time we visited the Camp Store. She was very attentive and professional in every way. Keep up the good work!

Little Bennett is our favorite car camping spot in the DMV area! Not only are the campsites settled in a beautiful woodsy surrounding, but we love the activities they offer, from laser tag, to the jump pillow, to the pedal karts, to more. My kids don't complain about not getting screen time when we come here, we love it so much!

We took my 4 year old son camping for the first time. We stayed in the tent sites. The campground was awesome! We can not wait to come back. The activities they have planned each weekend for the kids maybe the trip even more enjoyable. Bathhouses we’re cleaned and every worker was so nice and helpful!

Great camping spot to get outdoors and super accessible from I270. Well stocked store on site if you forget anything. Plenty of activities for kids like laser tag and a bounce park. Easy tent set up on the gravel pads and camp stoves were really great for cooking. Only downside was no outside firewood allowed and bundles available for purchase are $10 each.

What an absolute gem of a campground! The cabins are meticulously kept and spacious. The grounds are stunning, and there is lots to do for kids of all ages. Staff could not be nicer or more helpful. It was our first stay here, but will not be our last.

Thank you to the LBC team for a delightful experience!

Little Bennett Campground is a great family-friendly campground. The campsites are a great size and we love that the bathrooms/bathhouses are close by the camps. Our kids love the bouncing pillow, playgrounds, and all of the activities that the campground offers. We’ll definitely come back. It’s a wonderful place that’s only a short drive away to connect with friends and enjoy nature.

Little Bennett Campground is definitely a family favorite, particularly around Halloween. They have lots of great activities, like pumpkin painting, a costume contest, and campsite trick or treating. Not to mention the jumpy pillow.
The adults are big fans of the big sites, hot water, available water spigots, easily accessible trails from the campground, and playgrounds for the kids to go off and play on their own, etc. The only downside is the proximity to I-270, which means traffic noise. It's especially ... noticeable.. on Friday night is loud regardless of the loop you are in. Saturday night is much better.

My goodness, I love Little Bennett Campground. I've been there about 20 times over the last 12 years. I like how wooded the sites are, and now that I've started camping in a hammock, it's great to have enough trees to hang from. The amenities are excellent, including the basics of the sites, bathrooms and showers, water spigots, plus the lovely trails, and the great activity center, playgrounds, bouncy cushion, and pedal carts. The camp store has all that we need. Just overall, it's very well run and very lovely. Always cooler there than in the rest of the DC area.

I absolutely adore Little Bennett campground. The staff is outstanding, and the amenities are very clean/well kept. Filters on the campsite water spigots are such a great touch. The camp store is filled with supplies, snacks, and gifts—I can’t go in there without buying something. I am happy to go to the park several times per week, and stay at the campground at least once per year—it’s a natural oasis hidden in plain view in DC suburbia.

I had a great 2-night stay at the drive-in tent campground! It is very family-friendly with lots of kids around & activities, but going with just my partner and I was still delightful. The amount of trails was amazing and they were not crowded at all -- we hiked for ~5 hours on a Saturday and barely ran into any other humans (we saw more wildlife than people!). The majority of the trails are shaded, very well-marked, and well-cleared with manageable terrain, and the surrounding forests and fields were gorgeous. The proximity of the campsite to the camp store was nice for getting firewood too (not too expensive). The campsites were a bit close together but no one was disruptive to our peace. The only downside was that the "tent pad" was a square of rocky gravel, which we were ill-prepared for (I was expecting grass or dirt), so make sure that you bring thick blankets, sleeping bags, or an air mattress to avoid rocks poking your back as you sleep. The rocky ground also made it hard to stake our tent down but luckily it was not very windy. I would definitely return, with more blankets :)

We stayed at Little Bennett for a weekend to test out our new 20 foot trailer RV. We stayed in site #57 which was slightly sloped but we were able to level out easily once in the site. The site itself was HUGE, very woodsy and peaceful and the sites seemed fairly spread out and private. We were in the D loop which is all full hookups. The camp store had a few necessities and the staff was very friendly. We had a nice hike through the woods on the trails and at night it was nice and quiet. Bathrooms were decent and short walk, lots of activities for families and kids, overall a lovely peaceful setting and we'd love to return. Gets extra points for being less than an hour from our home! If visiting from out of town, you can do some siteseeing in Frederick Maryland and Washington DC is probably about a 30-40 minute drive.

Easy access to & from the freeway, and the roads inside the campground were paved and wide enough for our 45’ rig. Sites are large and clean. Campground is quiet and has many amenities. They are also pet friendly.
Kelly was very professional and kind & helped us in getting a site at the last minute, so we could visit a sick relative. We arrived a little earlier than check in and they accommodated us by allowing us to enter early w/o an additional charge.
If you’re passing through and need a place to stay, I definitely would recommend LBC. You won’t be disappointed.

The campsites for tent camping are wonderful, lots of space for a family to enjoy nature. The staff at the camp store are wonderful and always friendly. Well stocked with all the goodies you might need. They are very open to recommendations if they don't have what you are looking for. Laundry on site is a huge bonus. Game room has many different machines if you're looking to play something indoors.

We stayed for 4 nights over Thanksgiving and had a fantastic time. Our campsite was spacious and well maintained and had all the hookups for our RV. Our sons loved the laser tag and gem mining. The camp store was well stocked. We enjoyed the basketball court. The hiking trails were well maintained and fun. We just had a wonderful time all around.

My family and some friends rented a fire ring for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows and we could not have asked for better support from the staff at Little Bennett (Amy in particular). They were so friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had all the information we needed and we could even adjust our reservation due to weather. We were so impressed we're making plans to come back for camping next summer. All the facilities were so clean and directions to get around are easy to follow. Would recommend this campground to anyone looking for a fun experience.

From initiating my reservation to departing from the campgrounds .. what an awesome experience. The staff were so professional and helpful at all times and going that extra mile to assure your stay would be an experience to remember. The campgrounds were meticulous and awe inspiring in the fall - trees were beautiful golds and reds. The campgrounds very clean, trails marked and exciting for taking walks. RV Campers were very friendly and interesting to see people from other states coming to the Little Bennet Campgrounds . I certainly will share my experience with other families who go camping. This is a wonderful place to bring your children whether for just a week-end or a week or two truly a memorable place to visit.
