Talley Center

What a great resource to the Frederick community. Great price for a family membership and a variety of classes are offered. Patty Sue is amazing for the childcare while working out.

I'm a gym junkie sure, and I just moved downtown and I will say im very pleased with the Talley fitness center. Its not super fancy by no means but it has everything you need by far (squat racks, Smith, bench, tons of accessory machines, free weights and a moderate amount of cardio machines. I became a nemeber during COVID and they are very sanitary keeping capacity limits and clean the entire gym every hour. The staff is VERY nice and helpful. I would reccomend this gym to any type of athlete especially for the price, very cheap so even if you belong to another gym but just want a quick workout near home or work its perfect!

My best friend had her wedding here and it's was nice.

I live 2 blocks away from here so I may be biased but this place is great for folks that live in downtown Frederick!! You will be hard to find a better price and the equipment is good with a nice variety. Free weights and machines. Trx , ropes,a wall to do core with medicine balls, basically all the equipment you need and then some. For those with little ones looks like they have a room for them while you workout. $21 a month $ 16 if 55 and older.

I so enjoy the group exercise classes here, and you can't beat the price, especially if you are a city resident! Classes I've taken with Darlene, Aimee, and Stephen have all been awesome. Plenty of 2-hour free street parking is pretty much always nearby (drive past all the meters right beside Talley).

The aerobics class I attend is amazing. Marcia, the instructor makes the class fun, and you get a full body work out.

This is the gym I always go to while living downtown. No contract, pay per month if you want, its what I do. Affordable and I can walk here from work. Would reccomend for a gym if you're living in Downtown Frederick.

Super friendly staff! The childcare on T/TH with Ms. Pat is outstanding (my children actually cheer when I tell them we're going to the gym). Clean locker rooms & overall great facility.

Great place to take the kids to play basketball. I recently moved to Frederick and searched for places to take my 3 children to shoot hoops. Found Talley and it's only $2 for entry.

Super job checking temperature upon entrance, with few people in the building for reserved pickleball courts, and everyone wearing masks. I felt safe.

The City of Frederick Parks and Rec is one of the easiest organizations to work with. The programs are reasonably priced and well run.

Google Maps lists opening time as 8:30 am, the gym is open at 5:30 am, I'm guessing if you were seeking to rent out the meeting spaces above the gym, you'd have to wait until 8:30 am for the "non gym" services to open

Really nice park. Came here for a jog and it was nice running around a trail that was clean with nice scenery.

Frederick has so many best kept secrets. Parks and Recreation center is one of them.

Basic gym. Friendly atmosphere. Excellent value!

Coach Dave's, Evie’s, Effie’s, Sandra’s spin classes are the best!!

We train hard here love the people ,and what they have to offer the city.
