Very well constructed site that includes a tribute to workers in the Civilian Conservation Corps, with statue and descriptive signage, worth taking the time to read. Impressive views from the overlook. Walking and picnic areas; ample parking.

Always a great place to come for a picnic and/or a hike. Family friendly with some play areas and picnic tables for gatherings. The Frederick overlook view is blocked by the trees but the Middletown overlook as a great view.

Love hiking out here. My wife and I hiked the Yellow trail today, stopped about halfway through and had a bit of a picnic lunch. The trail was quiet and the day was beautiful.

The Overlook here is over by the Tea Room at Knob Point. The grounds of this state park are beautiful. There is a parking area where you can pick up various hiking trails. The trails are color coded and a description of the length and difficulty is listed on the Bulletin Board inside the parking area.

Great overlook but with the trees out, it was slightly blocked. The nort overlook is clearer. There is also another unblocked overlook nearby

The park is a great place to spend a Saturday or Sunday walking your pup and seeing the panoramic views of Frederick County.

Tea room was fun to see. There's also a short but great little trail around the mountain top that stops at all the great views.
