I love St. Joseph's my mother came to know the sacrament of Penance thanks to the wonderful ministry. We have been absent for a while but are anxiously counting on returning. We love the Extraordinary form and are consider ourselves blessed to have the ability to go weekly.

Beautiful and growing parish! I pray they get a new church soon! They've very much outgrown their current one.

This church was a lifesaver to our spiritual life. I feel like I’m practicing the authentic Catholic faith the way my ancestors did. The building is not in great shape and I was actually scared away by how it looked but boy was I glad I didn’t turn around and go back to my car. The beautiful Traditional Mass is just the beginning. The priests don’t beat around the bush and will always use the old readings schedule that was stolen from us in 1970. Lots of young people, probably more weddings as a result of meeting in this church than anywhere else I have been . In all the years I attended regular 1970 liturgy churches no one ever came up to me to welcome me to the community . These people literately poured me coffee and had me chatting till the afternoon. There are a lot of us “refugees” from the typical “boomer ordo” church. If you come try to show up at least 30 min early or else you will be in the overflow hall. They are in the process of building a bigger church to accommodate the influx of new Traddies but for now the chapel fills up pretty quickly.

I’ve been attending this chapel since 1993 and love the rich tradition and TLM it provides.
It’s very reverent and has a nice community. The priests hear confessions before each Mass and have wonderful sermons. It is bursting at the seams, so get there early. It’s a good problem to have.

My military family and I love the Latin mass. We were parishioners and regular attendees of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Chapel from June 2020 through 2022 when I moved for military duties to another state. I highly recommend St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Chapel and we attend mass there whenever I return to San Antonio, TX.

What a beautiful and reverend Holy Mass! The Priest was very reverent, the choir outstanding, and the parishioners very welcoming and reverent in the Mass. I came to San Antonio from Alaska and decided to come to this church. What a blessing!

This church changed my spiritual life. Not to mention it was one of the only churches open during COVID when I joined. I met and married my husband here, and will have our first child baptized here in 2024.

What a treasure to have access to the Traditional Latin Mass in San Antonio. This small chapel is thriving and nourishing souls from all over south Texas! Viva Christo Rey!

You can count on authentic, orthodox Catholicism at St. Joseph’s. They have a beautiful, ever-growing community devoted to the worship of God in the Traditional Latin Mass.

My first time attending this Traditional Latin Mass, was my first ever and left me with such a joy I could not contain for two full straights days.
I have been attending here since around 2014.
After learning the truth about the Novus Ordo, and to clear a few things for the misunderstandings, according to the late Father Hesse, God rest his soul, it is Vatican 2 that is a schismatic rite, due to the fact that they dare made changes against the Quo Primum of Pope St. Pius V, who codified the Latin Mass to never be changed under penalty of anathema.
SSPX IS Catholic through and through.
I can go even deeper, but that's for another forum.

This Latin Mass is the only one I attend. Every SSPX Priest I heard gives excellent sermons and they are very knowledgeable of the faith.
God bless the SSPX!

Traditional Catholic mass in a chapel setting. I come here because my teen son isn't into the liberal church. Whatever. He doesn't ask me for much so I bring him here. I do like the priest. He seems like he'd be interesting to talk to about anything on your mind.

"Christ, our Passover, is sacrificed for us." - St. Paul. The chapel keeps central the solemn sacrificial nature in worship of the Holy Trinity, where they "proclaim the death of Jesus Christ until He comes" again, hence why the worship is facing the East, for Jesus said He will return from the East. The only message is Christ and His crucifixion. Their great hope is in His return.

For those concerned that the SSPX is in a complicated relationship with the Vatican, remember that many of the saints were as well. Pope Francis is the chapel's pope. Jesus taught the Disciples, regarding those otherlings acting in His Holy Name, "Those who are not against us are for us." SSPX may be considered the otherlings of the Kingdom of God. They are not against the Roman Catholic Church. On the contrary, they recognize her as Christ's Bride (Body), of which they are members. They simply oppose the modernism that has crept in, which is now evident to all. They are, therefore, deemed protestants, little 'p', who wish reform from within- a reform of the Vatican II "reform", unlike the Protestant Reformers who sought reform from without, and deformed the Faith in various degrees. They are fully orthodox but unlike the Eastern Orthodox, they accept the preeminent authority of the Bishop of Rome- the Vicar of Christ, who sits in the Seat of the Chief Apostle St. Peter.

Coming from Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Dickinson, TX, This is the next church my Mother, God rest her soul, would want me to attend. Now that we are in SA area, I'm glad my family and I can go here. Traditional Latin Mass, the way it was meant to be. Thanks and God Bless SSPX

I lived my first Traditional Latin mass here on Easter Vigil this year, so beautiful...I hope one day SSPX can come to my city of Laredo, we have no TLM in any parish at all, yet we have so many fully devoted traditionalist Catholics here....I will pray we will soon have SSPX mass here too

I arrived in San Antonio on Sept 2, 2018 to visit my fiance and family. I am a member of St Pius X in Post Falls, ID since 1991, and attended Queen of Angels, Dickinson, Tx since 1985. I could never leave the traditional Latin Mass.

The Traditional Latin Mass here at this parish is growing and needs a new Church. We are praying for a new Church and more vocations.
