Mommy Magic Cakes

Communication was great and decorated exactly as my daughter requested! Cotton Candy flavor cake (moist) was a big hit at her Sweet 16th Birthday celebration. They also added cotton candy flavor in the icing as well (we requested mild mix of cotton candy and buttercream for a light pink frosting). The baker & decorator did a wonderful job!

My family has had a handful of cakes now from Mommy Magic and each one has been so delicious. I asked them to make my son’s first birthday cake and sent them a picture of a Peter rabbit cake. They did an absolutely amazing job! The design is exactly what I wanted and the cake was so good! They are reasonably priced and were very responsive. I look forward to trying more of their treats!

Mommy Magic cakes knocked it out of the park with a custom cake I ordered for my brother’s surprise birthday party. I provided photos of his favorite guitar (replica of Eddie Van Halen’s) and the level of detail she incorporated into this masterpiece was beyond impressive. Every party guest was stopping to get a good look at the cake, take photos and said “where in the world did you get this done?!” I couldn’t be happier with this the work she did and highly recommend her if you need something special for your events! We had two dozen cupcakes done up as well and they were as delicious as they were beautiful.

Best cupcakes I have had in my life! Will be back to purchase more! Great icing and cupcake has the perfect level of moisture! See you soon! :)

Amazing cakes! Got my desserts for my sixteenth from here and everything was perfect. I highly recommend the salted caramel cupcake!

Been getting cakes from Kate for years. They make some of the most impressive looking cakes you'll ever see. BUT, their cakes also taste the part. There is a place much closer to me that makes some impressive looking cakes, but they are bland. I will make the drive (out of my way) to get my cakes from Mommy Magic as they taste fantastic. I especially like their strawberry cake. Wow.

The cake was absolutely delicious and it was. The are really fast to respond when I emailed them the design and cake was ready on time. Everyone loved it

I emailed mommy magic cakes a few pictures of a detailed first birthday cake. I picked it up the other day and it was perfect! Exactly what I wanted! The details were amazing and it tasted awesome too. In talking to Mommy magic at the store, she was so kind and had a wonderful personality. They were much less expensive then local bakers in Frederick, almost three times less! The lower price certainly has nothing to do with quality because, these cakes are amazing, they tasted awesome, the detail was just beautiful. She said to me as I left, "I don't believe in price gouging just because other bakeries do...We all just moms trying to give our kids a pretty birthday cake!" How awesome is that.? she also sells adorable cake pops in iced sugar cookies at a reasonable price as well. I have three kids so I definitely plan to be back for more business!

Mommy magic Cakes never disappoints. I absoluty love this place. I have gotten my sons birthday cakes from here the last 2 years and each time they delivered beyond expectation. I only get a 2 layer cake with Buttercream Icing in the middle. This year we called on the day of my sons birthday first thing in the morning it was definitely to late to get gumpaste/ fondant but we were able to order the butter cream 6 inch cake. It was perfect for who was attending. The icing is sweet enough and not over sweet like some grocery stores. They also have other snacks in there you can purchase. My mother in law had never been in a true bakery besides a grocery store and was truly impressed. Their Chocolate covered Gingerbread cookies she ordered. I had expected to be hard they were not and soft which was perfect for my teeth and the Ginger was not over bearing it was mild but gave it enough zazz to taste and mix perfectly. I highly recommend this place.

Had Kate ( the owner) make me a FABULOUS 3 tier cake with seedless raspberry filling in each layer!
It was a hit with my guests and it was soooo good!
I felt it was reasonably priced.
I would not hesitate to have her make another cake when I need a truly special dessert!
Oh, and until then, I stop in and treat myself to her butter cookies and cake pops...(..Oh...Im getting hungry!)

We had a Christmas cake for our Christmas party. Last weekend The cake was so beautiful. The cake taste so wonderful, great favor. Words can't describe how great it is. Everyone loved it . The cakes was done on time. Everything we asked for was prefect. Mom got the cake that feeds 20-30 people. The prices can be a little high, the cakes are worth it. I
I wish I would have taken a picture of the cake, to show you how great it looked and how much time she put in to her cakes.
I will be having birthdays in about four months. i know where I'm going. Thank you for the beautiful cake!!

We grabbed a few items from the display at the end of the day. They all were delicious. Kinda expensive, but worth the premium price, in my opinion. Super decadent cupcakes. Good option for gifts.

Mommy Magic Cakes did such a wonderful job making the cupcakes for my baby shower!!! All I did was email a picture of what designs I liked in edition to the color scheme and they created exactly what I wanted! The process was so simple and easy. Everyone loved the cupcakes and continuously asked where I had them made! Definitely will use them in the future!!

Wow! Kate was super to work with in creating my Niece's LOL Surprise Doll birthday cake. Everyone at her party marveled how adorable it was AND how very delicious it was. The yellow cake was so moist and flavorful, and the chocolate icing was delectable. Mommy Magic Cakes will forever be our bakery for all our cakes. They are fantastic and so very creative.

Wonderful bakery! We enjoyed some delicious red Celeste, peanut butter chocolate and s’more cupcakes and a chocolate covered pretzel. The owner was so friendly and helpful. She helped me with a cake issue I was having with one of my own cakes.. Will definitely be coming back and would highly recommend.
