The Lumen Brothers are an awesome company. They are highly responsive after emailing them. Josh came out to the house and is very knowledgeable and alleviated multiple electrical problems we were experiencing. I highly recommend them and will not hesitate to reach out to them again if I have any other problems.

Service upgrade: nice new load center and service drop for our older house. Easy to schedule, communication was top notch, as was the work itself. Best graphics in town, too! These things matter.

We hired Lumen Brothers to wire my garage workshop along with several other pieces of work for our house. They did a great job and we're totally satisfied with their work. Josh did the initial walkthrough, estimate, scheduling, and the work itself. He answered all of our questions and provided guidance where necessary, including going into some basics of home wiring for us as new homeowners. He was polite, informative, patient, and highly competent. Highly recommend these guys; we'll be calling them next time we need electrical work.

I sent an email to Lumen through their website and got a response right away. Due to a cancellation, Josh was able to come to our house the next day. He was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. We had him install new lighting fixtures inside and outside. We will definitely have them back to fix problems caused by our previous electrician and to replace a few more fixtures. Everything turned out great! I bought a 25 year old home in Frederick and employed Lumen Brothers to upgrade electrical work including removing and installing new fans and chandeliers, replacing all outlet covers and installing dimmers, installing a new light fixture in my basement, and installing new exhaust fans in the bathrooms. Josh provided a comprehensive fair estimate prior to beginning any work. I was extremely impressed when he went over and above to complete the installation of my exhaust fans when unanticipated problems with the ductwork arose without increasing my cost!

I worked with Doug from Lumen Brothers, and he absolutely transformed our home theater room. We went from a poorly placed fan with light to a well designed space with recessed lighting, controllable by zones, and all dimmable to achieve that perfect "movie" atmosphere (the recessed lights with the night light mode is perfect for the space). Doug walked me through options and made great recommendations!

I am seriously impressed at the service and professionalism of Lumen Brothers. I've worked with a few electricians and all have been good, but Lumen Brothers is the best. Doug took the time to explain options and educate me on the decisions to be made, so that I felt comfortable with the work being done. And since he found easier solutions to a couple of the problems we asked him to fix, the invoice actually came in lower than the estimate. Because I am curious, he explained what he was doing whenever I was hanging around. I learned a lot, but not enough to not call them next time I need something. I would recommend them to anyone.
