I came here after seeing reviews. The place is amazing I just wish they were open longer than 3pm! They offer so many desserts and creations they also bake cakes! They also have many coffee creations too! The bakers they work hard and come in early in the morning to prepare. They also sell photography, on their wall. They also are closely connected to their community on their board. The woman there also told me she changes her menu every month so if you come once a month you can try all their uniqueness when it comes to bakery. Come see what the buzz is about!!!

Wonderful place to stop for a snack or coffee/tea. Great selection of baked goods including cookies, bars, scones and gluten free items too! Variety of bread is also available as well as a large selection of coffee and tea options. There are a few tables inside for those who can't wait to get home to have their treats/drinks. If you want to see their full selection of bakes goods make sure you get there early as they do sell out of items.

The owner is a gem! My latte and carrot cake donut were the best we ever had! Support this awesome local establishment, you won’t be disappointed.

*** Update - stopped in for breakfast/lunch, the coffee was so very very good! *** I love this place! The Buzz cafe was recommended to me by friends with excellent taste, and the relaxing back road drive to Monrovia makes going for breakfast and lunch even more special. The coffee arrived steaming hot and smelling great wit a little pitcher of cream. The caramel scone was amazing! A perfect pair with coffee, somehow both light and satisfying with every bite. Our food was gorgeous to look at and delicious to eat. Everyone was content and full so we ordered our desserts to go (I am so looking forward to opening that box of treats at the end of the day). What a great time, I wish we had gone sooner!

I stopped in here during a Baltimore to Pittsburgh hike to get my water bottle refilled. The owner then asked if I wanted lunch on the house. You know a hiker never turns down food😁 so I ordered what she recommended from the menu. Brian's Chilaquiles, which was amazing. Two eggs poached perfect on top. I sat and talked to a local woman the whole time. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was buzzing. Plus the anniversary cookie was delicious. If ever in the area I recommend stopping in to experience good people and great food.

Great find! Staff are friendly and helpful. All work together for good service. Food was delicious. Had the quiche with side salad. Took home a cheddar biscuit and almond scone. Both were great, even the next day!

Overall- amazing.. I've been here with my family 3 times now for food (and another just for the coffee. They have a wide selection of latte flavors you can mix that are fantastic) and every time we end up ordering a bunch of different things, splitting them and passing them around oo-ing and ah-ing all the way around. The staff is super personable (especially Cole, who always asks what the crowd favorite was). We love that they change up the menu every month. We'll definitely be coming back at least every month to try every new menu!

So very pleased with this beautiful and delicious cake that they made for my daughter’s birthday! The scones, cookies, and food is scrumptious as well 😊

Hidden gem in Frederick county. Anytime I’m down visiting in the area, it’s a no brainer that there will be a pit stop here. Not only do they make lots of delicious home made cakes (order yours well in advance), but they have an amazing assortment of baked goods and breakfast goodies. One must try the baked oatmeal, it is the BEST and they change the taste based on the season! Honestly, it is a goal of mine to try everything on the menu. On top of having great food, the staff here is attentive and very friendly. One of the best cafes around.

Delicious foods. Really hoping they keep the chilaquiles on the menu for awhile. It’s so good. The staff is really nice and friendly. It can get busy on the weekends but it’s worth the wait. Also, the bee proud latte for this month is really nice. Just, this place is good.

We've been in the area for two of their monthly menus now. Both have had several amazing items.
They always have safe staples, but their more experimental items are what we've loved every time.

Top that with a wide selection of lattes (with good espresso) and their home made whipped cream? You get the best breakfast/brunch place we've found in the area.

Their staff is also very friendly and helpful on giving recommendations. Highly recommend!

Excellent food, very nice people, and great service! The Buzz is small but we have been there several times and have not had to wait for a table. We go for breakfast and everything we've had has been good. Their baked goods are excellent! We've ordered a cake ahead of time for a special occasion and it was beautiful and very tasty.

The best place in my heart. It feels as good as it tastes. We are really lucky to have such a fine chef in our town.

Everything we've had here is delicious! Today we tried the Dutch Baby and it was fantastic. Other favorites are the Ganache Brownie, breakfast sandwich and panini. They use good ingredients and everything is so fresh. I want to try everything on the menu.

So many latte flavors to choose from! Amaretto & Raspberry is amazing, especially iced. We brought 7 people and a baby in for brunch on the weekend, and we were definitely a larger party than they usually have all at once. However, they were able to accommodate us across 2 tables, and all the food was fast, hot, and delicious! They had a highchair for the baby which worked out well, and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

Update: The keylime pie tart and cinnamon roll that we took home are amazing. 👍

I do not give five stars. The Buzz is the exception. The entire experience was delightful. The ladies at the Buzz have it down pat. From the humorous signs regarding coffee and undesirable customers, to the delicious food, The Buzz is a wonderful place to sit and eat breakfast. The restaurant was clean and smelled of the wonderful baked good The Buzz is known for producing. The music was even just right, mixing modern and some older tunes. The bathroom was clean and smelled of the lemon soap they provided to wash my hands. The menu changes but this Sunday I had the breakfast pizza. The pizza was topped with two eggs that were done just enough to let the yokes run slightly, making for a most scrumptious morning meal. The service was friendly and attentive. My partner had a peanut butter latte which was described as ‘very good’. This was my first time at the restaurant, but it will not be my last. If you haven’t ventured into The Buzz off route 80 it well worth your time to stop in for just a coffee or maybe something sweeter.

We've been in 3 times and each time the staff, particularly Cole, has remembered us and asked what our crowd favorite item was. The most recent time we went we genuinely couldn't decide what we liked most - everything was so good. Definitely going to be back at least once a month for the new menu

Over the last few months I have had the pleasure of sampling over a dozen dishes across The Buzz's menu a full breakfast and lunch menu and literally dozens of different types of baked goods and pastries and every single dish has been a pleasure.

The owner recently created one of the most delicious and decadent birthday cakes for one of my munchkins that I've ever experienced. Other than having to add an extra digit to my calorie tracker I have no regrets!

Ya know those movies where a world class chef starts their own business in a small town area and offers world class food to local residents who have no idea how spoiled they are?...Well that's the deal at The Buzz.

The owner is a classically trained pastry chef who truly loves spreading joy with food. She has created a welcoming little environment in her shop and has assembled a team that seems as much a family as a group of co-workers. The menu is continually evolving and she's very accommodating for folks with restricted diets (gluten sensitivity, vegetarian, vegan, etc.)

This place is a small business that deserves your support. And given the consistently amazing quality of their food...you'll be very happy with your decision. Try them once...you WILL be back!
