Great day hike area along with the river

Very quiet area with ample places to fish. Parking was very simple right outside of the trail head. Limited area I’d say no lore that 20 cars could park there. Bridge goes right next to it where the water is relatively rapid flowing. Easy to get down to water. Don’t try to take the trail then cut back over for fishing the brush is 80% thorns and spike bushes and you’ll get bogged down quick. Couple kayakers went by otherwise very quiet and peaceful. Didn’t catch anything but I’m a fly fish rookie and only had a couple hours. Water was very clear and refreshing.

This is a great trail to really get away and there aren't many people around. The trailhead at the end of Ed Sears is a good starting point, and recently cleared :-) although the grass is a bit high at the start (1/2 mile), so bring your bug spray! Bikes are probably ok? but be prepared to dismount.

Wear your bugspray...but that's a given in the summer. Well maintained paths and no litter. Great walking trails for young kids.
