Woodsboro Park

Great walking path around the lake and along the Israel Creek. We take our dog Parker who loves squirrels. We also ride our ebikes on it when it's not so busy. This park is great for the photographer. We've seen Mallard ducks, Canadian geese water turtles, Blue Heron and various colorful birds. Park has disc golf also with many daily users.

Great little park. We often go here with very young children and they have a blast on the play equipment. The equipment is clean and updated. I recommend it!

A quiet park with multiple playgrounds and a good fishing pond. I've caught bass and catfish out of here personally. I love the biodiversity of the area. You can often spot a local heron hanging around.

I definitely recommend this park, at least the pond side, for a quiet spot to hang out.

Lots of room for the kids to play at the 2 playgrounds. Walking trails throughout the park nice for kids and dogs. The skate park is open and a great new addition to the park!!

Love that there is a wide selection of equipment for children. There are a lot of pavilions to throw a party!

Beautiful and peaceful park with an easy to moderate walking trail. Just one short but steep hill by the lake that would be difficult in a wheelchair, that can be avoided using the other trails.

Kind of wish you had signs to show were some bathrooms are located. It's cool that they have a great park for Dic-golf. I never knew so many people enjoyed the game.I would put one Porta pot on the Dic-golf side and one on the playground side maybe put a box for donations to cover the cost.Some people need bathrooms more then others .I don't know how they make it through the games? Other then that the park has really improved since I saw it last!!!

This place is a great place to take kids. It could use some maintenance though. Most people love the merry go round but it is currently broken.

Beautiful park surrounded by rolling hills, full grown trees and trails. It's wonderful to see Mayor Barnes and so many folks in the town work to make Woodsboro a creative, interesting and safe place to be.

Nice small park with a pond you can fish with. Very pressured waters to fish. Use soft baits here will give you more success. There is open areas to play ball games and walking paths with little incline areas that are easy to walk.

Beautiful park with a creek a lake and lots of wooded trails through the woods. Also a very nice but challenging disc golf course, good baseball, and soccer fields, a few large pavilions with a big playground. Lastly, my favorite, lighted tennis courts that are shaded in the late afternoon and evening.

Great park for exercising or taking your dog for a walk. We took our 2 year old son here and he was able to play on several of the parks. There are also places for bigger kids to play. We will definitely be coming here in the spring.

It's nice, it's big, it's free, there are a number of covered Pavilions where you can picnic out, and there's plenty of play areas for the kids. Baseball field is full-sized, and there is also a small field for the junior players. Once they finish renovating along the creek it will be absolutely first class. Got to like it.

Beautiful park. Disc golf course has many options and is well maintained.

Great disc golf. Solid variety of wooded and somewhat open holes. The back 9 has a lot of elevation change so prepare for a hike.

Very nice disc golf course, shaded. Not too many vines on the sides of the fairways, so I didn't lose any discs. Lots of picnic tables here and there. Easy parking.

Best disc golf course in Frederick County.

What an amazing course! If you are a pro you may really enjoy the hard (green) tees. Almost every hole has two pins. Lots of variety. The course meanders through the woods. Lots of blind pins. I can't say enough good things about this course. Definitely a workout. Well marked. Warning, lots of trees. This will challenge the novice and casual players and provide a good short game practice for the experienced/pro player. Definitely going again.
