In Balance

My wife and I had couples massage at In Balance while visiting town for a few days. Susie and her staff were so polite and friendly, it made us feel like we have been going there for years, even though it was our first time there. Next time we visit Frederick, we will be sure to return. It was an overall great experience by someone who truly cares about her clients. Finding the place is a bit challenging, but once you find it, the experience is wonderful.

Went there for my first massage ever today. Suzy was excellent!! I had a bit of anxiety initially because I’ve never done it and she relieved that instantly. Felt amazing the entire time. Between the calming music and the sound of the rain I was in a state of euphoria. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. I hope to be back soon. Great setting and overall vibe.

Wow, Susie was exactly what I needed after years of back pain and constant tension. She took the time to get to know me and what areas I was having the most trouble with, and actually focused on working out those areas. She worked with the perfect amount of pressure (I prefer a more firm deep tissue massage) and checked in with me to make sure the pressure was good for me. My masseuse explained what the process would look like before the massage started and checked in throughout the massage to make sure I was comfortable. I felt very safe and taken care of throughout, and very relaxed! We’ll definitely go back the next time we visit Frederick.

In Balance Massage studio has a convenient downtown location, it's very cozy, and clean. Susie asked the right questions to know exactly what type of massage I needed and provided an amazing experience. She really worked-out the knots in my shoulder & neck area which I had no idea were in such desperate need. So thank you Susie!

Best massage I have EVER had. I frequently get massages and this tops them all, hands down. The therapist is very thorough. I would recommend purchasing the 90 mins service so you can get the full experience.

Susie was absolutely lovely. Her office is conveniently located right next to two garages in Downtown Frederick, so it was an easy trip to get there. The office is small and comfortable, and the massage room is well designed and obviously oriented to make you as relaxed as possibly. She was kind, funny, and very open and I appreciated her earnestness and sincerity in ensuring I was comfortable and respected. I got the peppermint head massage and it was truly fantastic. The peppermint wasn't overpowering, but was definitely invigorating and pleasant. She found the perfect level of intensity and got right to work. She worked my muscles methodically and was quick to notice any specific areas of tension and go to work on them. It was truly a relaxing experience and I greatly appreciated it. Definitely looking forward to being a repeat customer. 😁🥰

The moment I walked into In Balance I felt a sense of relaxation with Susie's kind demeanor and professionalism.
