Absolutely incredible service! Very chill ambiance as well. My gel mani/pedi was done to perfection. I got them done for vacation (including the beach + pool) and after 2 weeks my pedi and even mani are still going strong! Such kind people with great attitudes. Will definitely be my go-to salon in the area and a spot I highly recommend!

Living here for 30 years, I have been to many nail salons in the 27513 area code. Layla and her staff at VIP nails is the best. She not only does such a great job on my nails, her customer service skills are wonderful. She greets every single person who walks through the door with a smile and a great, happy, upbeat personality!

I’ve been to VIP Nails twice now and I highly recommend. The staff members are all so kind, hard working, and patient with you when trying to make your nail vision come to life! Both the owners are amazing people and genuine. They are very meticulous with their work and give the best pedicures I've ever had. If you want a really good foot massage, I highly recommend coming here.

Really happy with how my nails turned out. I was kinda shocked that they were $80 ish total. But I did get a French and chrome, so makes sense. These are the gel x full set. Definitely recommend.

I have gotten the veneer 21 done a few times and it’s been great. After nail bed damage with shellac and mold on my nails from dip powder, at another salon, the veneer is the answer. Eric does a great job of customizing my color. This process does not have you dip your nails in chemicals to take it off or file the product off and damage your mail bed. I’m a big fan!

Absolutely incredible! I’ve tried all types of manicures and they always leave my natural nails thin and vulnerable. I came in curious about the veneer manicure and am BLOWN AWAY.

I intended to get something in a deep red for Christmas, but after completing the veneer layer, I couldn’t believe how shiny, strong, yet thin the veneer was! I even had two completely broken nails, but I bet you can’t tell which two they are in the pics :)

I ended up opting for a translucent color recommended by Eric so I can keep the natural, glossy look.

Edited to add! Eric has created a new way to protect your natural nail from the harmful chemicals in nail products, and has also eliminated the need for soaking nails to remove polish, and you need to try it! It is called Gel Veneer and it is phenomenal. I have attached pictures of my nails at week 5, with no chips, breaks or peeling. My nails are protected and stronger than usual because of his gel veneer. I also don’t need to feel guilty about ruining my natural nail to get the gel finish that I love. I love this salon and Eric. I use to have gel nails but I've found the veneer to be far superior. They are better for your nail health. They don't break and/or chip. They are thinner and more flexible. I've never had one pop-off. It is an amazing system and I highly recommend it. Eric and his wife are gracious beautiful people.

I have for years tried everything for this ugly toe of mine. I was tired of hiding it under the sand at the beach, always with socks on , or keeping one foot over the ugly toe. Then I spoke with Eric here. He said he could fit my problem. So he gave me a Prosthetic toe nail for cosmetics and then treat the ugly toe at home.

Now I not embarrassed at showing my feet. See the before photo and after, and then my toes in the sand this week at the beach.

Highly highly recommend this place, I have done acrylics and dip powder technique on my nails for years (10+ years) it has thinned them out and broke them. When I came to Eric, he noticed how thick the dip powder on my nails where and the bad condition of my own nails . I came to VIP Award Winning nails after being very unhappy with the current DIP and Gel services & products from other salons. My nails were chipping, cracking and very weak. I almost gave up.

As a nurse, I get a lot of wear-and-tear on my nails—be it physical patient care or fighting to open 30 pill packets during morning med pass. I am also accident prone, in general. I have been so happy to discover Eric's veneer system. I am able to keep my nails healthy and relatively more protected. I initially went in with a few broken ones, and Eric/Lan were able to do extensions so that all my nails looked even, and still natural—great for my OCD. Since I have been skipping the colored polish (because I love to look at them so much), I have gotten so many questions and compliments from friends and co-workers in NC and RVA. I just wish this was available in more places!

Great Service! The nail application was done beautifully and with high quality! I got a Shellac Manicure w/ a lilac polish. Definitely recommend! Staff is extremely nice. The salon itself is very nice and clean. The staff has also taken great COVID precautions. There are plastic dividers between you, your nail technician and other customers next to you. The staff wears masks as well. Overall, a great experience and will be coming back regularly.

I have had my nails done by Eric for a few years. He uses the manicure veneer by Vo system. My nails could not be in better shape. They are strong and healthy. I use to have acrylic nails and it destroyed my natural nail. Eric's system is great for your nails and I could not be happier. Thanks Eric!

I have been here twice so far and had great experiences both times. My nails look fantastic and it was one of the best nail experiences I've had. Super friendly and kind staff who are wicked fast, but incredibly thorough (and you never feel rushed). Even after 3 coats of gel, the polish never feels thick, and they always paint right to the edge of your nail-two pet peeves that I never have to worry about here. My polish lasted a long time, and I only had to go back when it grew out.
Plenty of color selections, super clean, and never any strong chemical smell.

Eric did a great job both applying and educating me about my first set of gel extensions. They look beautiful... And another bonus, no acrylics at this shop, so his employees and customers are safe.
