I will admit when I first walked in this store I thought I had made a huge mistake, I thought it was a ritzy expensive wine shop that was going to embarrass my budget. I was gratefully mistaken! While this is an impressive and beautiful shop the prices are the best I have ever seen for such quality wines.

Chris, who runs this store is friendly, knowledgeable, and makes you feel very welcome in the shop. I can’t wait for Covid to end so I can try the wine tasting stations!

I use the Vivino app to view ratings and average cost for virtually every bottle of wine I purchase. It is shocking the quality and value of the wines at winestore. The staff is always helpful and friendly and the availability of a wine dispenser for sampling is awesome. Highly recommend.

Winestore is one of our favorite places! It’s my husbands bar after work. Great wine selection, best prices in the state and most in the nation. Love the tasting machines. It is so great to be able to try 1, 2, or 3 oz of different wines and find new favorites. Awesome staff. If they do t stock your favorites, they will special order for you.

Joshua was extremely helpful in explaining the different types of wine. He also did a great job showing me around and explaining options of wines I could give my clients as a realtor. I look forward to working more with him and his team to give my clients great closing gift! Highly recommend this store to anyone looking for great wine and great prices!

The Winestore. is my favorite wine store. Why? Local owners who care about their customers. Incredible selection, but not overwhelming. Lots of unique producers and varietals from around the world. And a core focus on value forward wines (not going to spend more than you should here). Their daily sales emails are great, as is the online ordering platform. What's not to like!

The customer service was absolutely outstanding! I was checked on and greeted several times! I love the descriptions listed for the wines and the selection and prices are awesome! I take great pride in being a loyal customer, highly recommend!

I visited this store one evening months ago after an early dinner nearby. I loved the look and feel of the store and made a small purchase. After returning many times I have come to know the Manager Chris very well. More importantly he has come to know me and my likes and dislikes very well. He has guided me through new taste experiences flawlessly. When I mention to him a wine that over the years has become a favorite and he does not have it he searches his sources and if he can get it for me he does so and I might add at prices that are very reasonable. If anyone out there is seeking a special wine source this is the place to go.

Beyond pleased with my trip to the Winestore. Being new to the wine world I didn’t know what to expect, but boy was I surprised soon as I entered the business. Greeted with smiles (still keeping masks on) & a warm welcome. Joshua was so helpful at helping me understand the differences in wine & how the store was set up. I was expecting high prices but was thrilled to find out Winestore has the best prices in NC!! Plus they can special order wine… what can’t this store do. Sadly the taste machines were down due to Covid but the staff still explained to me how they work, I can’t wait to come back & get to experience the store in its fullest. All the staff was so willing to help. Easy to say I’ll be referring people to stop by & check out the place for themselves, I know no one will be unsatisfied

WOW! What an amazing staff they have working here. I’m trying to expand my knowledge about wine and the employees particularly Joshua were such a great help. They answered all my questions and helped me pick the perfect wine out for my steak dinner. Amazing store and even better service.

Great place with an AWESOME helpful staff - Nick, Joshua, Sean, Reid, Mitch are so helpful in finding the right wine for any special occasion. I used to shop the local grocery stores for wine, but for the same price I now get excellent service. HIGHLY Recommend.

I make an extra trip here after the grocery store because the prices are sooo good. Can't justify buying wine anywhere else. I buy 3 bottles here for the price of one bottle at HT or Food Lion. Staff is always so helpful. Can't wait for the tasting machines to be back after covid!!!

Really like this store. You can sample wines for a small fee before purchasing them. Prices are varied and reasonable. One of our favorites was a $5.99 Spanish red. Nice staff also.

Awesome experience, Joshua is super knowledgeable on all details in the wine sector. My first time and it was really great. Picked me out an awesome bottle will be back soon.

They have a lot of wines available for tasting via Enoround wine dispensers, which is a really nice way to try new wines. The staff was helpful yet not intrusive, and they have great prices (said to be the lowest in the state, some the lowest in the USA). Overall, a pleasant time shopping there. It also makes for a nice place to browse before heading to the nearby movie theater or restaurants.

EXCELLENT service!! I went in looking for a new white wine to try, and the manager Joshua, knew exactly what to recommend after asking me a few questions about my taste. Definitely recommend!

This is my favorite place to come and pick out a nice bottle of wine. You can come here and try a handful of there whites and reds and only pay a dollar so for a taste depending on the price of the bottle. It takes the guesswork out of purchasing a nice bottle of wine. Chris, the manager, is extremely helpful. All of the wines are handpicked for the store by a master sommelier so whether or not you're buying an expensive or a cheap bottle you can rest assured it's going to be decent.

I came here last week before I proposed and the manager Joshua couldn’t have been more helpful. I am NOT a big wine drinker (my fiancé is) and Joshua was patient and helpful while he worked to find me something that would be more my style. Thanks Joshua! The party was a blast and she said yes!!!! I owe you forever man!
