I absolutely love Literatus & Co! The atmosphere is comforting and welcoming, with a quaint charm that makes it the perfect spot to unwind. The pastry and drink selection is excellent; I could happily spend hours here. If I lived closer, I'd make this my daily escape. It's small-town bookstore perfection!

It was a neat place to coverse with friends over a cup of coffee or a light lunch. The young ladies who put your order together are delightful and have a great sense of humor. After you finish your meal or coffee, you can browse for a good book in their extensive collection.

Beautiful quaint little book store and coffee shop (other drinks available also) with plenty of books to browse and purchase, they even sell coffee and tea items for at home brewing. Very friendly and helpful in explaining where items were in each section, the lavender lemonade I ordered was delicious! Can’t wait to visit again!

Has everything you want in a small town bookstore, and a whole lot more! I loved the atmosphere, and selection of books; a true mix of past and present! The coffee, drinks and food selection were an unexpected bonus! We had multiple cozy places to sit down and enjoy all the loveliness this place has to offer. Gratitude to the owners for curating a heartwarming and inspiring spot to discover books!

Great coffee shop! The service is good and the coffee is delicious.

There are multiple places to sit and have a conversation or do some work.

They have a nice selection of books to browse through.

This was our first experience in this bookstore/ coffee shop since before it was a different name. The latte I had was amazing and the chocolate chip scone was so good as well! So many books and games and fun things to look at in there I could have spent hours! If you are looking for something that is unusual you will find it there! You will not be disappointed!

My wife had a book signing there on Saturday. The management could not have treated us any better if we were family.

We have been there now four times. Their coffee selections are well-made. The baked goods look delicious and I’d bet actually are. They make hot sandwiches and the patrons that I saw dining on them looked well-pleased.

As to the bookstore, it’s a gem among the independent bookstores in the area. Great and eclectic selection. Check out the extraordinary games display.

This bookstore is the quintessential small-town bookstore. Creaky wood floors, coffee, and a loft area to study or read. And the staff are delightfully fun! If you're looking for coffee, a bakery treat, and a good book, stop in!

This store is very cute but not just cute. There is a lot in it. There are new books for adults and kids, activity books, games, coffee and tea, used books upstairs, and plenty of space to sit (though I didn't stay in still in full pandemic mode). I got a flaming zebra which, if you didn't know, is a raspberry mocha. It was pretty delicious. The staff is very talkative and friendly and has advice about what to do in Watertown if you aren't from there. After the pandemic I'd love to spend time IN the shop if I came through.

Nice coffee shop and bookstore. Loved the upper level. We sat in a back area that was too ourselves. The two running the coffee were very nice. The coffee was good as well. Next time I'm visiting my kids in Watertown l so back in.

This place is relaxing yet exciting just enough to feel natural. We enjoyed our drinks and scone. Bookstore/coffee shop with loft. Found a small painting of whom I've headcanonned as David Tennant.

We LOVE going to Literatus Books!
I take my boys on days off of school. We get a drink for a treat (hot chocolate, steamer, smoothie, etc), and they pick out books to read from their great selection. The staff there always make them feel special when we're there.

One of my favorite cafes and I've been to quite a few. What a place to relax and enjoy time with a friend or just time alone. I love the regular rotation of books to browse and how many different sorts of literature and otherwise is featured. The quaintest of places. From seasonal drink specials, whole bean coffee and tea selection, the myriad of sitting options, to the delightful pastries, music choice featuring your favorite classical and fantasy movie soundtracks, extensively wide selection of book genres, and more, Literatus & Co. is a place for those who might look to find inspiration nestled next to a warm (or cold!) cup. Don't be afraid to be a little silly 🙂

My friend showed me this place for the first time just the other day, what a hidden gem it is (÷ It's very cozy, and the Chai was very flavorful and delicious. We were on a time crunch so we couldn't stay, but I can't wait to come back and actually sit and enjoy the atmosphere☆ Thanks to the baristas for such a welcoming time!

This is my favorite place to meet up in Watertown with friends! I've come here a few times also to do some school work and it's perfect for that as well. The bookshop part is adorable, the upstairs loft is cozy, the drinks and food are great, and the people working are always so kind. Literatus has become my go-to place!!
