C&H Cafeteria

Such a quaint cafeteria- spacious and clean. The food selection was varied and looked quite appetizing. The price for two of us, with a main entree, dessert and a drink, came to only $28. The staff was very courteous and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and by the looks of it, so did the other patrons dining there. If you are looking for a real dine-in experience with delicious food with cloth napkins and real silverware, go to C & H Cafeteria. 😋

Good southern home cooking at it's best, cafeteria style! Country style steak, fried chicken, Turkey and dressing, roast beef to name a few entrees. Mash potatoes, Mac n cheese and green beans are a few sides, salad bar for a bit healthier fare as well as baked chicken or fish. Perfect for families and large groups as well as a quick bite with friends or a dessert date with your significant other. Staff is friendly and helpful, always a step away to fill your cup! Affordable a la carte menu, free, ample parking & wi fi. Great place with great food!! Wonderful friendly service! Wheel chair accessible and free parking.

Been here on several occasions. I love the place and definitely want to keep coming. The staff is friendly and considerate.

My husband & I dined in at 4p in this eatery. This is a k&w style cafeteria that closes mid day during the week and reopens at 4p. Weekend hours are different. There is a wide selection of meats, salads and deserts. I had tilapia, a broccoli salad, potatoes and coconut pie all which was delicious. There is an hostess available to carry your tray if needed and also to get you xtra tea, water or condiments as tea. I did tip the person who carried our trays and the dining hostess. There is a takeout option also. You pay right before exiting the establishment.This place is easily accessible being very close to the Northgate Mall off of I 85 Duke/Gregson exit. Reasonably priced. A Mom and Pop atmosphere.

Always a lovely atmosphere and really had a Great Customer Service today by a guy name Nathan such a wonderful pleasing and caring.

I love this place! The food is always delicious. The country style steak tastes just like my mother’s did and is probably my favorite with either rice & gravy or homemade mashed potatoes & gravy. The Mac & Cheese is excellent. Southern comfort food is what you’ll get. The staff is outstanding, so nice and friendly from those who take your order to the cashier. Whether you dine in or take out, you’ll be treated with Southern hospitality!

Delicious and always a fresh selection. I give it 5 stars as they are always consistent in keeping their serving line stocked with a great assortment. Pictured is my baked spaghetti - wonderful flavor! My partner had the country style steak with rice and a side of turnip greens. So nice to eat as soon as you walk in the door. Highly recommended!

Lots of good, fresh, variety of food. Big portions. Lots of dessert choices. All employees on the serving line were very nice and helpful. Clean in the dining area. Clean bathrooms

It was our first time here. We walked in and were greeted with the aroma of a busy home kitchen. The cafeteria line up was clean and nice looking. The staff was friendly. It was hard deciding what to pick. My Husband ended up with two plates and was wishing he had picked up a third one. We had 5 plates, some breads and a dessert for under 50.00. No complaints about the food. It was all delicious and we are all full with leftovers. We will definitely be back again.

Great family restaurant with southern American cuisine. The staff is friendly and the dining area is always clean. You can't beat the prices either. My husband and I always eat our fill for less than $25 total every time!

Reminds me of Sunday dinner at my Grandmother's house! Honest, straightforward comfort food with home cooked taste. Staff is always friendly.

And let me tell you, you won't leave hungry! The portions are generous to say the least, really great value for the $!

The food here is very good. I got the pork roast, mashed potatoes, green beans. and soft roll. I was very satisfied with the portions and the food tasted great. The friendly staff were so much fun and very helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

Today was my first visit to C&H Cafeteria and I was not dissatisfied. The Fried Chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Baby Limas and Creamed Corn was delicious! The Strawberry Shortcake was excellent! I highly recommend C&H Cafeteria for your next great meal!

You can never go wrong with C&H Cafeteria. Such a great Cafe to eat at and I usually get Grilled Chicken,Ranch,Jello,Dessert and mashed potatoes and okra. Such great food and I only payed like $12 for it all.

We picked up our Thanksgiving dinner on Tuesday night since we had other plans for Thanksgiving Day. It was hot and ready right on time. I would give them more 🌟 if I could. Hot and delicious. Thank you so much for a great meal. You saved me a lot of time and trouble. Happy Thanksgiving to all .

My husband and I ate there for the 1st time. We were in Durham for an appt. and I searched for somewhere to have lunch. I saw the reviews for C&H Cafeteria so we gave it a go. I'm so glad we did because the food was delicious with large portions and the staff was exemplary! The apple pie was a BONUS! Hubby was so impressed that he ate a piece there and I got a slice to go 😁

Yesterday our church family (Ministers Outreach Tabernacle) went to C&H in Durham, NC. First, of all the hospitality was wonderful, the manager Tracy was so nice and they made sure all of us were in the same area together. It was 50 plus of us. The food was AMAZING!! Great soul food!!! The children are even talking about going back. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! on behalf of our Pastor and church family, may God continue to bless your business and the people faithfully working with you!!!!

People give it a try VERY INEXPENSIVE! My whole family(5) ate for under $40 and that included drinks!!! It is totally worth your time and money!!!

Nice selection of fruits, salads, meats, veggies, breads, and drinks. We had 5 people in our party. Seems like everyone got something different and everyone said it was good. Less than 10 dollars per person. Pretty good deal.
