Holiday Inn Express & Suites Kinston, an IHG Hotel

I want to thank all of the holiday Inn express staff for the most spectacular experience. They were all kind and helpful. I would recommend everyone whose visiting or traveling through Kingston to stay here. Room was very comfortable and clean. I will definitely be back. I also want to give a very special thank you to Chris, the front desk check in Staff. Me and my husband traveled all the way from N.J. for a funeral and Chris made extra efforts to have us a room for early check in even though the night before they were completely booked, so that me and my husband was able to freshen up and make it to the funeral service on time and to top it off dropped off a vase of flowers and a card to show the hotels appreciation for choosing to stay with them and offer their condolences. It was so heart warming. Also I want to thank the lady in the kitchen for the next morning breakfast. I've never stayed at a hotel before that really accommodated our food. she really put great thought into her breakfast spread to make sure that the pork and non-pork food was separated for people like me and my husband that don't eat pork. Thank You guys so much for the wonderful hospitality.

10 Star recommendation to Holiday Inn express in Kingston N.C.

I’m here once a week for an overnight stay, and the staff is always accommodating in every way possible. Even when issues arise with my reservations -as things sometimes get mixed up since my employer handles my bookings- the staff (particularly Mr. Barrett, the general manager) are quick to correct them. Toni, Dennis, Rose and Kashon are always helpful and polite when I check in or check out. The entire staff makes my weekly overnight stats feel like a home away from home.

Housekeeping was phenomenal. Shout out to Keke and Damion. Thank you and God Bless you. Also the Breakfast was well prepared following the eating area, loving the red chairs and the huge television as well.

Always a good experience when I am there. The staff is friendly and helpful. The management takes care of the property. Good breakfast options were provided.

Very nice and updated room. Front desk service is great. No complaints at all!

Other than a few small things such as dust on the smoke sprinklers in the room and the stain in the fridge, as well as rust in the coffee maker, and person running up and down the hall most the night. And one of the lamps did not work, other than that, I had an awesome time, It was very clean and the beds were so soft. I enjoyed the amazing breakfast it was amazing and tasty. Covers on bed felt clean and pillows as well. I will be staying again, the things I've listed were just a few of the very small things that concerned me, but I did enjoy my stay. And the room was very easy to find, and presentable .

Recently, our family suffered a loss. During our drive home, we encountered car trouble. We found the staff here to be extremely accommodating, empathetic, polite, and friendly. The room was clean, and the staff gave the extra mile with minor details. The staff here provided us with peace of mind during a difficult time.

The older maid was the sweetest woman ever. I was having a bad morning until I met her in the elevator and she was so sweet, it instantly turned my mood around! Thank you so much!!!!! Please give her a raise!!!!

The staff is incredible. Special thanks to Molly, who helped me tremendously. therefore, my stay in Kinston was safe, comfortable and unforgettable. I hope that in the future the possibility that I can return will be considered. I know that in this hotel guests are treated like at home.

We stayed here while attending the Wings Over Wayne air show. The staff at the front desk were great during check in and also checking out. Very helpful answering questions about the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Very clean and friendly. After driving 16 hours to this destination there were some hiccups with our reservation when we arrived. Jeff and Leondra worked with us and resolved the issue. They really went above and beyond. The hotel itself was very nice. The rooms, breakfast, everything. The rest of the staff was pleaseant as well. Always smiling and greeting us. We will definitely stay here again the next time we come to visit! Thanks again Jeff and Leondra!

Great choice.. I stay in a lot of hotels all over NC, the Holiday inn express in Kinston.. I definitely one of the better hotels in eastern NC. The outside of building, and the property look great, inside very clean, employees at the front desk were awesome and nice as could be. The rooms are extremely nice and clean. Definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.. prices aren’t to bad either. One of the few hotels that deserve 5 star rating.

Great location with easy access to the main roads. Very comfortable 🛌 beds! Excellent breakfast offerings. Best price, beating other not so good hotels in the area!

Front Desk was very polite, friendly with excellent customer service. Free breakfast was amazing. Everything was wrapped covered individual. The room was very nice no odors And very clean. I highly recommend this place. The rate was great as well.

Very clean and spacious rooms. Shower was phenomenal. Bed and pillows were so comfortable and staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again!

We enjoyed our two night stay here. The room seemed very clean and the staff was curtious. The breakfast was ok.....My only complaint was we had a door joining another room which wasn't a problem the first night. The second night there was some loud late talkers in there that we very clearly could hear what they were saying. I would stay here again I would just make sure I didn't get a room with a joining door.

Very clean well maintained hotel

This hotel was beautiful very clean and friendly staff. We came down from NJ on a family vacation and the kids loved it especially the delicious food they made. When we come back we will stay again.

Rooms are very comfortable and always clean so far so good. Everytime I visit my Kinston family I stay here and have yet to be disappointed.
