Walgreens Pharmacy

This location gets a five-star, just because it is the ONLY Austin location pharmacy to remain open 24/7. Thank you for being readily available for ATX patients to pick up their prescriptions when they need it most.

Although it's been a few years since I last filled a prescription here, I also remember the night/graveyard shift (midnight - early morning) pharmacists being extremely down-to-earth and friendly. Thank you for making the process enjoyable, too!

It was a pretty fast get there and give them my prescription and then 15 to 20 minutes later it was ready. Nice and fast.

Bro they had at least 3 people working in pharmacy and i stood there with nobody trying to help me for abt 15 20 min. While having coughing fit i needed my meds immediately

Several medications are hard to get. The last two years I have had to call pharmacies all over to see if they have it in stock BEFORE the doctor calls it in. I have done this with many pharmacies without issues. Today I called this location and was told because of security reasons, they couldn’t tell me. Lol. What!?

The person I spoke with in the store & on the phone made sure to make it known that she was audibly annoyed with me for asking about the status of my medication, as if I’m at fault for calling and asking a question about my medication! I never received a text that my medication was no longer available after having received a text two days prior that it is available, and the pharmacist had the nerve to speak over & interrupt me twice while I was trying to ask my question. I was told two weeks was the deadline in line, and 10 days on the phone. Shame on me for asking a clarifying question though right? Ridiculous

Waited 4 days for a refill on meds. Sent in the script twice. Called to see what was going on, they put me on hold, then pick up the phone and pretend they can't hear me, and hang up. Changed pharmacy, who professionally explained that there's a med shortage, and to call my insurance to cover name brand in the mean time. Professional communication is helpful. Childish behavior is not . Bye Walgreens.

Every time I call to update the pharmacy about one quick thing, I can't get an answer. The first time I called, they disconnected on me while transferring. On my previous visit to the store, I walked in and made my selection. On the way to the counter, the employee says "you're ready to check out aren't you." I replied "yes sir I am." After a sigh of irritation he said "every time... Every time..." He kept saying that throughout the transaction, like I'm really burdening him for coming in and buying a candy bar. I could keep giving stories of poor experiences, but I'll stop here.

2nd time coming to this Walgreens Pharmacy and having to wait an extremely long time for vaccinations even when scheduling an appointment. Be prepared to wait 30 mins to an hour for your vaccination after checking in at the desk. Both times were not doing peak hours be no means! I have vaccinations at other stores/medical facilities and I never waited so long to get them.

Would not fill out my vaccine card because I got my shot at another location. I just didn’t have my card on me when I got the 2nd dose. The doctor that gave me the shot said any Walgreens has access to my prescription information and that they can fill it out like they would fill any prescription for me.

I have had great luck until today. Good gosh! 40 mins in the drive thru and the kid there slowed down knowing I needed to go.
