Kinston Driver's License Office

So I went into this drivers license office to obtain information on getting my license back after 11 years. The lady that helped me went above and beyond and printed out some information that I needed. She was very busy but still went out of her way to do this for me! Thank you so much!

Awesome experience getting my license renewed and Real ID. Have been dreading it since I renewed online last time. Shout out to the lady at Station 5, very cordial and professional. Also, to the nice lady that helped me scan the QR code for a ticket. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes including the less than 5 minute wait before being called. Thanks!

The nicest DMV I've ever been to!!! They actually honored the appointments made and helped me in a very timely manner. The lady who received me was very polite and professional. The overall environment is very clean and organized as well. I only have nice things to say about this location!! Thank you guys for helping me!

Got an appointment here in time for me to renew my license. So grateful for their service and extended hours! I was in and out in 10-15 mins flat, would recommend 10/10. The staff was pleasant and courteous, one of my best DMV experiences.

Drove an hour to this office, as my local one could not accommodate me after 2 days. I was called back in a timely manner, and was treated with kindness, courtesy and respect! Staff was knowledgeable and efficient. A very pleasant experience!

Had a great experience in this office! Everyone is very nice and the process is organised. Took my son for teen driver road test. There was an issue with our registration for the car and they waited for us when we went back home to switch a car. I did not get the name examiner (gentleman) but wanted to say We truly appreciate the help! Got his level 2 license! Yay!

The best DMV experience ever! In and out in under 20 minutes. No line. No hassle. The staff were very friendly. I drove an hour and a half from Raleigh and it was worth every second.

This DMV locations has the most nicest employees! After getting denied from Goldsboro DMV twice for a road test, we went to Kinston to try and get my road test for DL done. I went in, checked in (they took me for a walk-in) and I waited for 20 minutes. I was then called in and then I was taken outside to my car for a road test. It took like 15 minutes and I passed. I definitely recommend this location to anybody, mainly for your road test. Just come in early in the morning and be patient!

Drove 2 hours and 44 mins. THIS is what every DMV experience should be. Everyone here was positive and helpful. Nothing rude about this place. Made everything quick for me

The best DMV experience ever! We drove an hour to go here and it was completely worth it! Examiner Williams was so genuinely pleasant! He went out of his way to be helpful! Be sure to make an appointment and you will have a great visit!

Everyone who works here is so nice, it makes the worth wait it! I waited about half an hour to be seen, but once I was up there, the man who helped me was so nice and helpful. I went here after the wait at the Jacksonville one was 3 hours and it was worth the extra driving time.

My husband and I moved from GA to NC. We went to get our drivers license changed. The two examiners that helped us today was awesome. The experience was not like past experience. They were very helpful and patient. We were in and out in no time. Thank you d of much for making our transition pleasant.

Mr. Williams was very customer oriented and his energy made this a very pleasurable visit. Due to Covid-19 and my local DMV still being closed it was worth the 47 min drive to Kinston DMV. Glad we made our appointment here!!!
