Burgers are some of the best I’ve had and at a great price. Staff are always nice and while the actual store is a little scarce the atmosphere has that “hole in a wall” vibe.

Bar on the other side is chill and a little more cleaned up and you can still order the whole food menu. Definitely recommend

I love Cardenas, best family owned grocery store, bar and grill in the westside. Serving delicious food to eat there or take home. The bar in the back is where you can have some cold beers, play pool, or just relax and enjoy the atmosphere.

Let me tell you this store is so on point every one has them little stores in between there Neighborhood we'll Cardenas grocery treats there customers like family ..for real just t he other day was short on funds I walked up in there asked to make me a home made sandwiches with everything on them with Condiments x3 feed my family that's what matters today people ..by the way they make good fish plates go check it out for your self for those who are from San Antonio..thanks cardenas.till the next time .

Picked up dinner for the family. Love that it's walking distance from our house. Everyone is always so friendly. We ordered several things from the menu and it was all so good!!! My husband also found a best there that he really liked. Overall great experience. We'll definitely be returning!

Very good deluxe burger and then the owner recommended the carne guisada taco with cheese, that was very very good, I live pretty far but found this place on tiktok, I’m going to keep coming to try everything

This is a small neighborhood place that is the best kept secret. The food, music (jukebox), and the people that go there are awesome. My family and I always have a great time there no matter if we are going just for some food or some cold ones. This is a family owned business and the owners are super awesome.

Small grocery store with grill and bar is very awesome; at the moment the bar is closed due to city ordinance(Covid-19) but the food grill is open and that have a good selection of food menu and prices are very reasonable...👍👍👍
