Overall great experience! They were very nice with explaining the process of what they were going to do on that first visit. They were also very thorough with explaining the overall plan they had for my teeth and how much everything would cost me. Everyone was super nice and it is a great facility! 10/10

The experience at Family Smiles dentistry in Boerne, TX was excellent. A little longer wait than expected but we all know that happens with late afternoon appointments.
This was our first time there and we are very pleased.

I really love this dental office, the hygienist and Dr. Carlson. I had a crown replaced and the deep below gumline cleaning last year and both processes were very smooth and easy. I actually am very glad they recommended the deep cleaning as I’d never had that done before. I was in and out today for yearly X-rays, cleaning and exam in about 45 minutes. My dentist in San Antonio retired and I tried several others in SA that I did not care for. I was so happy when I found Family Smiles and Dr. Carlson.

Absolutely wonderful! Everyone is so welcoming and hospitable and smiles abound. Heck, I walk in and suddenly I can't stop smiling; they're just so wonderful! They do great work and Dr. Tyler Carlson is fantastic. 100% Recommend

My family loves Dr. Carlson and his office staff! Incredibly friendly, helpful and professional staff all throughout. My kids are at ease in this office and Dr. Carlson is so good at talking them through procedures and making them feel comfortable.

My little one had to get his tooth removed. They made him as comfortable as they can. I could not be in the room when they took out his tooth but I can watched him on the tablet. That made me feel at ease. They were fast and very kind. I will recommend this dentist!!

My daughter had a good sedation dentistry experience at Family Smiles today. The sedation protocol used worked much better than the meds her last dentist gave her, AND it didn't leave her knocked out all day. The dentist was kind and gentle with her, and the technician was thorough and helpful.

All 5 of my kids and myself have had a great experience with the entire office staff! They are all very knowledgeable. The dentist is wonderful and I absolutely love the dental hygienist. Definitely made the right choice!

Dr. Carlson is wonderful! My son is 7 and recently chipped his front, permanent tooth. We were devastated, but Dr. Carlson was amazing. He saw us immediately and meticulously designed and attached a filling so perfect you’d never know. We will be using him exclusively moving forward.

Pleasant experience with Dr. Carlson! He is professional and has a pleasant demeanor! There was no fast pitch for additional services and he truly cares about the health of your teeth! A huge thank you to Dr. Carlson and his wonderful staff!

I like this DDS office. There wasn't a ton of paperwork to fill out on my first visit. Second visit was great. Put my new crown on in 2 hours. Didn't feel a thing. DDS has a great attitude, and all the staff are very nice.

I’ve had several cleanings, including a deep gum cleaning anda whitening of my teeth. All the work done has been top notch and very successful. The staff is professional and courteous. I LOVE the hygienist. She’s professional and does excellent work. The dental work (crown) I’ve had done has been perfect. All around good practices and services offered here. The pricing of services is very reasonable as well. Highly recommend this office for your dental needs.

Wonderful 1st time visit for my regular cleaning. Younger interns are given the opportunity to learn XRAY techniques. This is valuable for both parties. Dental hygienist was experienced and completed her tasks swiftly and thoroughly. Dentist was personable and thorough. Be prepared for lots of pictures on day 1 but it is worth the extra time. Such a convenient location and kid friendly is always a win:win

The Dr. I had was genuinely really great! (I had to have two wisdom teeth removed, and I definitely wasn’t an easy patient. I have a ridiculous amount of anxiety when it comes to anything dentist related & had a complete mental breakdown before even starting the removal.) He was fantastic and had a lot of patience with me and helped calm me down. As well as also answering all my questions and in depth explaining everything that had to be done (when I asked) in order to calm my nerves more. He also constantly checked in with me to make sure I was okay & gave me lots of breaks to help me stay calm.

Had the best experience on my first visit. Everyone is super friendly and caring. Would highly recommend them!

Great place for people who find going to the dentist difficult. The entire staff was caring and professional. We have been with Family Smiles for the past 5 years when we lived in Lockhart and I am so glad to have Family Smiles Boerne since we moved to the area. I recommend it to anyone.

extremely professional experience, transparent with insurance coverages & costs, and they doctor layed out a plan for that suited me to get my smile back to something I’m not afraid to show off.
After my appointment I got the mrs. scheduled and will be bringing my child here as well. :)

My daughter had a wonderful experience. Very professional, friendly, explained everything to me and gave us a refferal to an orthodontist.
