Attended a private birthday party and had the most amazing dining experience ever. The ambiance was relaxing. The food was exceptional. The steaks, salmon and Parmesan chicken were cooked to perfection. The green beans and Gouda mashed potatoes were hot and fresh. Drinks and hors de oeuvres were delicious. The staff was very attentive. My compliments to the chef for serving over 60 guests perfectly cooked food as well as the owners gracious hospitality, Definitely will be returning for another superb dining experience. Highly recommend!!

My wife & I really loved our entire experience last night at OBEN. Brian (bartender) is truly talented, and his recommendations were spot-on. We loved the variety on the menu, and would recommend the "Guy Roll" to any & all sushi-lovers. Aside from the excellent food & drink, the atmosphere inside OBEN is perfect for a date-night. The wait staff was excellent & we can't wait to come back soon! Thanks, Joi!

Absolutely loved this place the moment we were greeted by Brenda at the front. She got us seated at a prime spot and just hosted us so sweetly.

Our server got to us shortly after, EXCELLENT customer service from Michael! From how he interacted with us to his recommendations - just the best! We stacked our dishes and when he cleared the table, he said "appreciate you stacking this for me," let me tell you this is think I usually do, LOL, but nobody has acknowledged that!

The food was exquisite - we enjoyed the Sunday brunch menu, but already planning to come back and work our way through the full menu another time. Will bring out of town guests here for sure. What an amazing place!!!

This was my first time there. Sebastián was excellent as our server. The food is amazing! I'll definitely have to come back. Reservations are a must. I'll remember next time.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience at Richter. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch, leaving us truly impressed. The attentiveness and care of the staff made the evening even more enjoyable. And let's talk about the food – it was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite was a burst of flavors that delighted our taste buds and left us wanting more. The ambiance added to the charm of the place, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home.

A great space tucked away upstairs in Boerme. Menu was great with lots of options for everyone such as pizza, salads, sushi, sandwiches and wraps. Prices were great considering the high quality of the food. We customised a mushroom pizza- it was a perfect size to serve two people , crust was delicious and they were generous with toppings (wish there had been more tomato sauce but that’s a minor suggestion). Soup of the day was also excellent as was kale and spinach salad. Will definitely be back!

It was my first time here, but the 4 friends I went with come frequently. The Richter has some fun custom cocktails and flights. Be sure to try the margarita flight.

They menu is limited on Wed but still very full of great options. If you want some gluten-free pizza, this is the place. I had their chicken and sausage GF pizza. The crust is made from cauliflower and rice flour. It was thin but not as super thin as it can be at some places. It's not a frozen prebought crust. My friends had the burgers and the fajita steak salad. Everyone loved the food, and all was cooked to order.

The service was great. They were very attentive but not overbearing where they were always interrupting. The atmosphere was nice. The booths are tall, so you aren't hearing other conversations or being distracted by others.

The chocolate cake was delicious. It is huge, so it can be shared by 3-4 people. I ended up taking it home as I didn't know how big it was, and even 2 days later, it was very good.

I will be going back and trying more food.

One word......Excellent!! That describes the food, craft cocktails, service, atmosphere and the incredible building!! Downstairs is Cork & Keg, upstairs is the Richter Tavern and in the way upstairs (third floor) is a secret members only bar and club called Oben!! We ate dinner and walked around the cool building and found a guy named Guy. He was so awesome and told us the building history and introduced us to Oben! Add this place to your bucket list, places to visit and your next food crush!! Their food was yummy!!

This place is so cute! We love the esthetic and enjoy stopping in for a drink. We finally tried the food and liked it a lot. Next time we’ll give the pizza a try! We had no idea there was an upstairs area as well, which is also a fun vibe! Definitely worth stopping in.

Outstanding service, great atmosphere, from the silent pictures playing on the walls to the awesome bathroom deco. The cocktails were fantastic and the old fashioned was one of the best I've had in the entire San Antonio region.
The pork the dish was amazing. Only knock was the pizza sauce was very overpowering and I was not a fan of it. Try the wings, trust me!

We hosted a wedding welcome party on the patio of Richter’s Tavern. We highly recommend Richter Tavern for a private event.

They brought back their Bagels and Lox in the Bakhaus! Ordered one and sat in the Breezeway! Fresh made right in front of you.

I hosted an event at The Richter last week in their NEW room next to Cork & Keg. Joi and her staff were super awesome. All my guests we well taken care of and the food and service were great! I would highly recommend hosting an event with them.

OMGosh, fantastic service, great atmosphere, delicious food! Male staff in kilts. It is oldest bar in the Texas Hill Country, bakery downstairs, a must try!!!

Richter is my absolute favorite place to eat lunch in Boerne.

The staff are always friendly and welcoming.
Food is amazing. The Butternut Power Green Salad is my favorite.
Bar drinks are made from all fresh ingredients. My go-to is usually a Brown Derby and they do it well!
On my last visit I noticed they now have alcohol free bar drinks including a bubbly Rosé from Wolffer Estate. Being that bubbly Rosés are my favorite I just had to try it! It was so good. I couldn’t even tell it was alcohol free.
The alcohol free menu is a great option that you don’t find in most restaurants.
Richters Tavern is a must try when you are in the area!

Excellent food and great service by our waitress Cassy. We came for lunch and the food came out very quickly and everything tasted awesome. Week definitely be coming back soon.

GLUTEN FREE SHOUT OUT to Richter Boerne for understanding Gluten allergies. My 10 year old recently was diagnosed with a gluten allergy and is learning to eat out with his new dietary needs! I am in tears at how included the Chef and Management team made him feel with his gluten free request! They went above and beyond to make him feel “normal” and cooked up a delicious GLUTEN FREE pizza with a gluten free volcano dessert!

So delicious! I HATE brussel sprouts but I ate the brussel sprouts here.

They are social distancing the tables, they check your temperature before you are seated, and the staff are tested weekly. I appreciate that.

Now back to the food. Went here with my mother and ordered the Margarita Flight (4 tastings, enough for two average servings of alcohol). Everything is naturally made and the margaritas weren't too sweet AT ALL! The Crystal is VERY strong so be careful!!

For food we order the Chili Garlic Shrimp, Fried Brussel Sprouts, and the Wings. Everything was so good. Highly recommend!!

Dinner in a restored 1920s industrial car garage. The tavern is upstairs but we grabbed drinks and appetizers downstairs at Richter Cork and Keg. Look forward to trying a cinnamon roll at their Bakhaus.
