Good food and service. They have breakfast all day just $2 extra. I had Eggs and chorizo plate.

Very good food, with many selection of items on their menu. The restaurant is clean.
The staff personable and attentive to needs of their patrons. It is located within a strip mall and the are plenty of parking spaces.

I absolutely love this place! Sad I only get to come when I travel.

5 stars for the prices and drinks! Super affordable tex Mex with their lunch specials, green enchiladas are good and gorditas were ok. The margaritas however made up for the ok food (very strong)!

Tucked away in a tree shaded strip center. Almost a hidden treasure. Busy but never crowded lends to an unhurried casual meal. Service is prompt and efficient. Intimate booths and central table area. Full bar. Diverse menu selection. Enchiladas are great. I am stuck on the street tacos ... try all the meats. This time I ventured out and tried the crispy tripas ones. Fantastic. Never a disappointment whatever we try.

This is the kind of place where you know what you’re going to get every single time, and there’s something really comforting about that. Quality of food is consistent, and it’s always affordable. No, it’s not gourmet, and the chips & salsa definitely are not homemade, but the food is good and you know you don’t have to dress up to get a good bite to eat. Service has been decent for us each time we’ve been, and especially after having an extremely unsavory experience at another Mexican restaurant that just opened about a couple miles away, I really see the value in Centinela. I know where will go in the future for Tex Mex in Boerne.

Service was great , everything came out as ordered quickly , I could tell the Spanish rice was made the right way just by looking at it then finally upon taste - AMAZING! And Omg I love the beef fajitas! They were tender, bursting with flavor and could tell that they took their time to cook it slowly rather then very fast on high heat. Just ate there earlier today for lunch & I’m already craving to go back

I love this place so much! Everything I eat there is amazing but the Carnitas plate is my favorite! The servers are very nice and welcoming. We go about once a week. The best! 😋

Food was pretty good here! As long as you're looking for tex Mex and not authentic Mexican food. I really did like everything. The enchiladas, the sauce. It was different since it was tex Mex but still very good.

For date night, friends’ night, any night; Centinela is a great choice. Wonderful food- the carnitas are the best I’ve ever had! Crispy and deeeeelicioso! Love, love, love the margaritas and their Happy Hour. We enjoy a good laugh with friends and a great meal at happy hour with our friends often. Awesome lunch specials too.

Open early! 6 am! Good food and service!

My Bride and I have had the pleasure of dining at Centinela Mexican Restaurant twice in the past month, the most recent being last weekend with our niece. Both experiences were excellent and the meals were awesome. I'm no Mexican Food expert, but we really like the spin they put on each dish we've had thus far. Our waitperson (Fernanda?) was friendly, proficient and appropriately attentive...great job and thank you! The Manager (owner?) recalled our last visit and also helped insure the evening went well. Thank you and we are looking forward to our next visit!

This place is beautiful, classy and my new go-to for great Mexican food! The parking is weird so I never came in when it was other restaurants. Do yourself a favor; come here next time you're craving enchiladas. Lisa was a fantastic waitress as well.

Always good food and fast service

We go here weekly. The staff is very friendly and remembers our drink order. No matter what you order from their LARGE menu the food is really good. The prices are also great. I wouldn't hesitate to bring a large group here.
