This is truly a Texas treasure. The staff is experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. They have never pressured me into an upsale, and consistently take the time to explain any issues that I am experiencing, why, and how they plan to fix them, very little little gets left to the imagination. Lester's may not be the cheapest, but you definitely get your moneys worth. This facility will do almost anything except major body work. With the facility specializing in Hot Rods anytime I find myself waiting I have plenty of classic cars to stare at while my vehicle gets worked on.

This is to update you on my review last year!
I arrived at Lester's Automotive at 4:14 p.m., needing an oil change, state inspection, new battery, and new windshield wipers. The team at Lester's was amazing! I was back home with all repairs and state inspection done in 30 minutes! Rafael and Austin were great, as were the staff who welcomed me and my two dogs. This is my second year going to Lester's Automotive for service, and I am so grateful for their help and expertise. Thank you!!! See you next time I need any service or repair!

Went for a state test and stayed for an oil change. Friendly, efficient staff and quick service. It was a warm day and I had my dogs, so we enjoyed the outdoor seating area while waiting. Highly recommend!

These guys are amazing to me! They remember me every time, it's so friendly. I brought my kiddos with me for an oil change and an a/c charge, so they offered them ice cream bars and water bottles. As a woman, i never feel taken advantage of, and I'm always satisfied with the quality of work! A++ guys

Absolutely amazing mechanic shop. The biggest thing I can say is they are TRUST-WORTHY! My 1989 Ford E-250 Class B RV died on freeway on a Friday afternoon. I got my van in the shop just before they closed and Chad was super friendly as I described my issues. Come Monday morning, the van was fixed at a very minimal cost (as a previous mechanic did not properly connect the ignition coil back up after replacing fuel pumps). Having an van with out of state plates, I was a bit concerned that I might get taken to the cleaners. Instead, Lester Automotive gave me awesome service. I would highly highly recommend them. There is a reason they have been in business since 1962.

Fixed my diesel generator on my RV after another shop improperly placed the filter seal.
I wish I lived around here so I had access to this shop year round!

Absolutely the best service I have ever experienced! I called and spoke with Rafael in the tire department. I told him I needed a new tire. After answering his questions he said he could order the tire and have it in the next day! Wow! I was impressed as I spent two days talking to other tire places and did not receive any help. So.. I googled the best tire shop in Boerne and called Lester’s. I went to their shop and only waited fifteen minutes and drove away with a new tire on my car. Thank you Lester’s and Rafael, I will be back when I need help again!

I would like to thank the crew at Lester’s for continually providing an excellent experience every time I’ve used them. I needed a wheel bearing pressed into a new Hub about a month ago, tried my luck just dropping by without an appointment and was told that they would have it out by the end of the day, as they were quite busy. A few hours later I was called and informed that my work was completed and ready for pick-up (work was done well under their estimated time). I had the same situation happen today for a project car that needed the bearing races pressed into the new hub, I was contacted before I even made it home letting me know that my work was done ! YOU GUYS ROCK !!!! These 2 experiences along with services being provided at a great value and excellent customer service are why I’ll continue to give my business to the crew at Lester’s !

Chad at Lester’s is amazing. He is one of those guys that actually listens to you (a woman) and makes recommendations according to your budget. The service I have received there has always been nothing less than 5 stars. They just replaced my motor mounts and again wonderful service.

Highly recommend lesters automotive for any automotive work needed. Very nice and professional staff. I have brought my vehicles in for air condition issues, transmission repair, bearing replacement brake rotors replacement… every single time dropping my vehicle off I have received a call back the same day with estimate cost and timeframe on when vehicle will be done. Their prices are very fair and they have done exceptional work on my vehicle!

After getting a flat tire and my jack not working, I called and was told that someone would be there to help. Less than 30min later Victor showed up, and not only helped with his jack but was able to patch up my tire. I drove home that day (8hr drive) and had no issues. Whoever answered my initial phone call was super courteous and nice, and Victor was amazing! They were able to take payment over the phone and were done in less than an hour. Highly recommend, especially for out of town folk!

Above and beyond service at an exceptional price.
Brought in my mother's 2008 Ford Expedition after a break in attempt left the driver's side door handle hanging off and the key lock damaged. They handled the repair in a timely manner all while keeping me updated every step of the way. As a younger woman I am no stranger to car repair shops trying to price gouge me or take advantage by offering unneeded services, however this was absolutely NOT the case with Lester's. They provided me with the best price possible, and truly made me feel like a valued customer. I will be recommending Lester's to everyone I know, and will continue coming to them for all my automotive needs.

Lester's took a horrible situation with our Warranty company and turned it into a positive situation. They went above and beyond from what a "normal" repair shop would have done. I will use them in the future and recommend then to EVERYONE! Daniel is the best!

We are really pleased with the work Lester's did on our 2013 Rogue! Nissan had told us that the AC shuddering every time we stopped was normal at its age, but after Lester's serviced it the AC works like it should and only slightly shuddering once. They did an excellent job on our maintenance check-up, (stopped the slight vibration in the car for one), and we feel the car just all around runs better. We had the brakes changed by a dealer and they had messed it up and even after re-doing the brakes they didn't feel right, but now they work fine. We definitely would recommend Lester;s! This was not our first visit and we have always been satisfied with them.

We came off the highway for repairs and read the good reviews, so gave it a try. You can trust these guys! Everyone was kind, thoughtful, and quick. We were hung up for a bad repair (entire rear end rebuild) so they worked fast and kept us informed all along the way. The price was very fair and in almost no time we were back on the road. I hope to never break down again but if it happens I hope it's by Lester's!

It was a pleasure doing business with them. They worked on my motorhome after a breakdown. Roy did great work and fast after locating the parts. Also friendly counter staff was a pleasure. Great garage for any repairs or maintenance.

This is not from Dennis Robinson. I'm borrowing a Google Account from a neighbor. This is from John and Mary Kelly. All I can say is WOW! What customer service! We pulled our RV out of storage to find out the left signal and brake light were not working and you cannot drive 3,500 without them. Ancira RV told me they could fix it in a month and Ron Hoover RV wasn't much better. Lester's told us to be there the next morning at 7:30 am and they would see what they could do. At least they were willing to look at it. They fixed it in 2 hours and it was a power plug in issue on our Dodge Ram and NOT the signal/light. They will be my to go guys for everything from here on out. Our trip is not delayed. Very well done, guys!!!!!!! Thanks so much.
