XGS - San Antonio

XGS took over one of our freight vendors some time ago. And while at first it was a bit rocky, things have continued to improve and look to get even better. New management and veteran leaders in the office make for great CS in person, while the warehouse crew are quick and accomodating. Make sure you are aware of online tracking as well. Its no wonder why so many suppliers and other freightlines choose to work with them.

the location is little tricky , it doesn’t have big far visible banner or so and the google information should have suite number ti easily find it, this is important because there are several same buildings in that area

The office staff are always very helpful in getting our paperwork in order and the warehouse staff are very helpful. They go the extra mile in organizing our orders so the loading process goes that much quicker.

Was made a purchase order and I went there to pickup. Took only a few moments to be acknowledged by an associate, which took the order from me to check and he informed will be ready to be loaded in a few minutes. Everything was great, the shrinking wrap of one pallet wasn't secure and I asked to done again. The associate did and was loaded correctly.

Some parking while you wait, restroom available, and it is clean!

I was a driver there at 22 dollars hourly pay plus you get one day every week of one low mileage pay at 40 cpm which is not right and it’s bi weekly pay and benefits are expensive and there’s no growth when I was there the CEO of the company quit, the Head of HR quit and lots of managers and drivers quit all the time so that told me it’s just a job not a commitment so just beware of your pay because they try telling you that you get pay overtime after 40 hours but remember you get one day every week a low mileage pay so basically for example Monday and Tuesday is mileage pay and Wednesday through Friday is hourly pay so good luck trying to make 5 hours of overtime at least. Company wants to save money on overtime so they should make it straight time pay take the low mileage pay out.

I would NEVER recommend that anyone work for Xpress Global Systems. They could not care less about the safety of their employees. All they care about is dollar signs.

I was with them for over 5 years, showed up to work extremely early every day, worked nights by myself which is completely against safety regulations, went above and beyond for this company and they let me go without warning due to "company restructuring".

If you ever have an opportunity to apply for a position with XGS do yourself the best career/life decision you could make and DON'T.

This company is one of the worst companies that I have ever had the disservice of knowing. After 5 loyal years of hard work, and bending to the crooked will of a tyrant manager...my husband was laid off. He was not the only one, but it happened in SEVERAL locations! He was one if the hardest, most proficient workers there! So warning to all who would apply to work for a company that is going down the drain!

Working for this company as a professional CDL driver was the worst move I've ever made manager by the name of Tom is the rudest person I've ever encounter with very unprofessional no people skills and has a tendency of yelling over the phone. Companies turnovers for driver's is Sky High because of this man. Very little pay on a biweekly paycheck. Driver has too much responsibilities for very little pay.

I would Never recommend nobody to work for express Global system management constantly lies about the stops never answers his phone doesn’t care about our safety always late comes & goes when he pleases & his a Tyrant manager and super favoritism
