Wild Goji Sushi Restaurant & Bar

Been wanting to try this place out and glad I finally made it. Service was prompt and attentive. The food came out quickly and everything was presentable and good.
There are specials that change out including lunch specials and prices. There is a wide range of sushi so something for anyone to enjoy.
We tried the fried shrimp and bao appetizers. Both were great but the shrimp was my favorite.
For entries it was miso based ramen and I subbed soft tofu, which was a small upcharge, (I needed a soft meal after surgery. Beef jalapeno fried rice, and hibachi steak with veggies, fried rice, and yum yum sauce.
The miso broth was fantastic and the entire ramen was wonderful. The fried rice was decent but personally I wasn't overly excited for it. And the hibachi steak and veggies didn't have a heavy oil flavor and was cook tender and full of flavor.

Great place with a wonderful vibe for a lunch, dinner, or date. Very comfortable to be in and enjoy yourself. Will go again and again

Hidden Jem here. Real Asians cooking and serving, I don't know about you but I like it when the people who's culture is represented are actually making the food. The food is on point with everything being perfect and very artistically presented. Great care taken for each plate. The bar drinks are not weak or plain. Beautiful drinks, great tasting food.. Plain and simple. You won't be disappointed. We keep coming here multiple times a year and they always upgrade and do better each time we come. Everything is very clean. Great date place or just a fun place to go. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

The sushi had a great flavor, but the seaweed wrap was a little bit chewy. Hopefully it was just one batch that they got. We enjoyed our lunch and it was a great atmosphere.

So, I was looking for a place to have lunch. I saw the sign for this restaurant. It sounded familiar, maybe I've seen reviews online. I decided to check it out. The place has a nice vibe with a prominent bar to the left as soon as you walk in. I promptly seated. I checked the menu, looked promising. Well, I just want to see what they had to offer, so I decided on the sashimi sampler. It was $42. Not sure if I can justify that for a quick lunch. But I was pleasantly surprised. I thought the $42 was easily justifiable. There were 12 different kinds of sashimi, tuna, salmon, tamago, tako, amoebi, and scallops to name some. No unagi, though. It was nicely presented. They were fresh, and the cut was good. I'll go back to this restaurant to try out other items on the menu, and of course, do the sashimi sampler again.

Food was amazingly good and fresh. We like it raw and it was delicious. Excellent service. Drinks were ok. Will definitely be back again.

This is our favorite sushi spot in San Antonio, especially if you’re looking for somewhere to eat near the airport. We typically bring friends who visit for lunch or dinner after they step off a plane and whenever we’re craving sushi come here. Everything is always tasty from our favorite spicy garlic edamame, wild goji signature roll, gyoza, I think the garlic chicken, ramen, and shrimp tempura. It’s very clean, presentation is nice and staff friendly and quick. You’ll enjoy this place!

We arrived at noon on a Friday to acquaint, clean serving area, a bar with 10 seats and cheerful music. It wasnt terribly busy and bonus- their lunch prices are also available on Saturdays. The food is not only delicious and fresh, but beautiful. These photos are of the blossom roll, complete with scallops on top! and the lettuce wrap appetizer, which is a huge portion.

This is truly a hidden Jem especially when it comes to their ramen! Best ramen I have tried. I’ve been to several places but the best part about this place is that the culture is the one cooking, serving you. I absolutely love this place!

I appreciate a relaxed environment and not an over stimulated one. Not only is the food delicious But the restrooms are clean! It’s a weird thing to mention but it’s important.

This is the new go to sushi spot! Excellent rolls and they all don't have cream cheese in them! Great variety of rolls and the nigiri is solid! The ramen is good as well! Bring a date, or your mom!

I highly recommend for lunch! The lunch menu is very affordable and the food is delicious. Will definitely be coming back.

Stopped by here out of total coincidence, I saw the sign for the restaurant several days back on the way to a work obligation, and on the way to a different sushi place several days later, I saw it again and decided to stop by here instead!! SO glad I did!! This will now be my go-to spot for sushi. We got the Wild goji signature roll, lava roll, shrimp appetizer, wild bao appetizer, and a couple of drinks (I tried the cherry blossom and the cucumber martini). Service was amazing, drinks were good, and the food was exceptional. 10/10!!! I saw their happy hour menu as well and they have some great deals on drinks and food. I’ll be back soon!!

I was impressed by the door handle and the fact there was a door stop and the consideration for us washing our hands and the fact there was toilet paper to help us dry our hands. Oh and by the way the food was good. I didn’t have a drink but the drinks looked fire. Shoutout our waitress she was super nice. Tell them Andy sent you and that you would get a discount. Thanks

To be honest you would not expect this level of quality from the strip center exterior. The inside of Wild Goji is dark and intimate. Unlike many sushi spots the kitchen is tucked in the back with just a window through to the busy chefs. The menu is interesting and full of surprises. We started with a Singapore Sling and Cherry Blossom drinks, both strong but a little sweet, and some savory Bao Buns with pork belly and hoisin true to standard. The sushi though was head and shoulders above average. I had the Signature and my gal ordered a Lava Roll, both superb. We wanted more so sprang for the Shrimp appetizer with Coconut, almost a dessert with a hint of sweet and spicy. I will be back here each time the sushi craving hits. Loved it!

Wild Goji is a great spot to visit for some quality sushi and ramen. The service is always excellent and they go above and beyond to make sure you have a satisfying dining experience. They typically have specials or a featured roll each week, highly recommend!
While we love to try out new rolls each time we’re here, we always opt for our favorite starter- the Fuji Wonton. Some of our favorite sushi rolls are the Iku Iku, Surf & Turf, and Lava Roll! 😋🥢

Yummy! I recommend the lunch specials so you can get more bang for your buck. But the SA Cowboy roll was pretty tasty as well. One thing I would suggest to the restaurant is using filtered water for the hot teas because the jasmine tea tasted like tap water.

Food was delicious. Service was fast and waitress was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

We have been trying many sushi restaurants around town and were very impressed with Wild Goji. They have very unique and delicious sushi rolls, and mixed cocktails. The service we received was great, they offer a happy hour menu and specials. We will absolutely be coming back for more.

This place was awesome! Everything was delicious and the presentation is on point. I started with the Wild Bao. So many flavors in such a small bite. I also had a ginger salad which looked amazing. It was very fresh and tasty. For my entree I had the Ginger Garlic Bento Box. Again, presentation was fantastic. The garlic chicken was perfect. You also get 4 California roll sushi pieces, not pictured because I ate them. Also not pictures in the bento were the gyoza, because I ate them so fast. My gf had ramen, which was yummy. She ate all of it. 10/10 would recommend. They are very conscious about Covid precautions. Good spacing.

Talk about great sushi! Everything was super fresh! I liked that the rolls with fried aspects weren't hot like many other places but just the part that had been fried was warm! We tried a Surf and Turf roll which was unlike anything we've had before! The Iku Iku roll was spicy but the perfect amount! And the Sakura Blossom roll was delicious too! Service was quick and thorough! Yummy!
