Lots of clean machines in great condition. Clean restrooms, showers and lockers. Friendly staff. Great spa also. Update: all new smith machines, new Hammer crunch, new glute drive and tons of other new stuff. It's awesome!

I looked at four different gyms before choosing Planet Fitness. Great choice. Many pieces of equipment so that you never have to wait to do your thing. Very friendly staff and extremely clean location. Highly recommend this gym on Knickerbocker Rd in San Angelo.

Don't know when this was built/refurbished but it's a solid PF. Clean (like, looking brand new) equipment. Tons of cardio machines. I'd prefer more Smith machines stations, but when I went there there were some still open. Also, it's spacious. More than many I've visited.

I started coming to this gym in February of 2022 and at first I was a little skeptical of it, but I love it. There are many different options for cardio and a variety of different weight machines to use. And if you are looking to tan, they have many tanning beds (both stand up and lay down). This gym and the machines are always clean. The staff is awesome. I don’t know any of them personally but I want to say some things I’ve observed about them. This summer has been hell for them from the AC needing to be repaired, to having a serious medical emergency happen with one of the gym goers, to a toilet in the women’s bathroom overflowing (poo and all). The workers are fairly young, but they are driven. They take charge of the issues that come up and they seem to really support each other. You will usually always see them with a smile whether it’s when they are busy cleaning machines, cleaning poo off the bathroom floor from a toilet overflowing, or when they are in the front behind the desk greeting customers. They make sure to say hello and goodbye to their customers. It’s really awesome to see how they work as a team. And the gentleman who was working when the medical emergency happened on Labor Day (I think his name is Isaiah) acted very appropriately and accordingly. That was a lot for him to experience and I hope the higher up people in this company acknowledge his doing so and take into account that he experienced something so significant that might impact him in different ways, good or bad, and take good care of him.

San Angelo’s Planet Fitness has a wonderful, friendly staff, an awesome trainer, such a variety of machines and it is always clean, plus affordable.

We joined a few months ago. It's always clean and the staff are great.

The staff is always so friendly. The environment is super laid back and everyone is easy to talk too. The equipment is always clean and the ease of going in and working out and not feeling overwhelmed is fantastic. I do wish that this gym was 24/7 or had earlier times in the weekends due to scheduling.

Miguel is so nice and has given me tips for weight loss. So far, I’ve lost 40 lbs. mostly by just walking. The staff are friendly and the equipment is high quality, clean, and available.

When I started in November of 2021, after a long battle of Pneumonia, I knew I had to change the way I lived. I was over 400 lbs. I was depressed, hurting in my joints, and wasn't fitting in my clothes. It's April 2022 as I type this and they have been THE BEST team I have ever been to. It's not I "have" to go to the gym It's I GET to go to the gym! I started the 75 Hard Challenge with my friend who's a nurse and I chose this gym because I have friends who been there and liked it. Since I have been going, it's been clean, sanitary and no odors. The equipment is easy to learn and use. I have lost 47 lbs since I have been going to Planet Fitness! After my workouts I buy a bottle of water from them, and say hello to the awesome team and I let them know how much I lost every time I get a chance. It's not the destination but the journey and they are a part of it!

One of the cleanest gym’s in town. The staff is friendly and courteous. I prefer this gym over any other gym in town.

Not a local, a frequent flyer. Have not been to this location since 2019, mostly stay around Houston and LA areas but often visit the PF if there is one around. This morning I was blown away walking back into Angelo’s PF with the cleanliness, updated equipment, safe environment, and friendliness of the staff at this location. The luxury at this location is above and beyond many of the franchise, and the care of the facility is evident. My dude @ the front was so helpful and polite. Really looking forward to working out here again and my trips in the future!

I love my gym! It is always clean and always somebody to help you out if you need anything. The environment is truly what makes me keep going. It feels like we are all on the same team shooting for the same goals. Always someone to lend a hand or give you a word of encouragement. I wouldn't trade my gym for anything.

Every single thing about the complex. I've never had a gym that I call home, I'm addicted big time! The whole staff is awesome, and does they're part to make it a safe and efficient facility. I'm able to get my workout complete with no problems. I truly recommend my planet!

The facility is always clean, the staff is always nice and they have all the machines I like to use. I also enjoy the extra perks like the tanning beds and hydro massage.

Best planet fitness in the US. Been all over and this particular gym hooked me up better than any I have visited. Thank you for making my life easier.

Very clean, equipment in good condition, and staff were helpful and friendly. Locker room is well-maintained and cleaning stations throughout facility. I'm a black card member so I used the hydro-massage table, absolutely wonderful!

I love this gym! I never feel uncomfortable or like I'm being laughed at. Everyone is very friendly and the staff are great! Love that I can workout, tan, use the massage chairs and hydro massage bed
