Shannon Medical Center

After first trying to be seen at urgent care, I was able to cancel that appointment. I found that my issue was one Shannon on Demand could take care of. I was told it would be a twenty minute wait, but was connected with a Dr within five minutes.
She sent in my prescription to my pharmacy. I am feeling better and will be able to return to work Friday. Thank you so much to all the staff that assisted me.

I’m new to the Shannon Medical Group, so far everyone at every office I’ve been to has been excellent! The Staff that greets you at check in are friendly and smiling, ready to help you through your check in. Then when you get to the Doctors office, their staff is ready and willing to assist you with any questions, and all of the different medical staff I’ve seen so far have been great, knowledgeable and helpful letting me know what treatments I need to have. Everyone has been Terrific!

Dr Josiah Ward is our Pediatrician since we moved here in San Angelo in 2021. He goes above and beyond consistently to care for our son. We were never disappointed with his care, patience, thoroughness, diligence and attention to details especially when he sees our son for a problem visit. Shannon clinic/hospital is the best experience I’ve ever had in the hospital or clinic. Dr. Duarte was very professional and courteous caring of situation. They treat you and call you up very quickly even though there’s people so don’t leave your name will be called within 15 to 20 minutes usually. Most of those people are there for other doctors and other things

Kristen Owen, is who I’m going to shout out here. She does her research for you. She makes sure to contact Dr personally not through her nurses. When I was a new patient of hers, she did not let me go without every test being done just in case so we were on top of it. The result of that is she help me find that I had cancer. Amazing doctor she may not be a full MD, but I think because she’s not. She takes extra steps to make sure she does her due diligence.

I felt comfortable and confident that my healthcare was in Jennifer Slavens hands. Her office is amazing at making me feel safe and welcomed. She’s a very thorough provider which I appreciate and respect. She’s one of the best in her profession.

This visit was not my usual followup and checkup. Dr Herrington, his good nurse Michele and ever excellent staff saved my life by an accurate and prompt diagnosis and immediate treatment. I am ever so grateful they are part of the Shannon family. The best medical care one could hope for right here in San Angelo.

Dr Dacy is a top notch Dermatologist. After three years of seeing Dermatologists here in San Angelo and San Antonio, Dr Dacy has provided the solutions for my skin issues. I no longer look like a monster. People look me in the eyes now and engage me in conversation, instead of looking down and away. THANK YOU Dr Dacy for changing my life! I'm eternally grateful!

The heart center did an excellent job of providing information/feedback regarding my test results. Shannon Medical Center is an excellent place for providing medical information that a person needs to know.

Everyone I have dealt with from doctors to secretaries and assistances----EVERYONE spoke with kindness, were helpful, clear in explaining things and just like walking angels. I so wish Abilene had such a wonderful place, and even their oldest buildings I went in were so very clean ---BUT mainly it was how everyone I met actually looked and talked to me as if I was a person who truly mattered! I would and have told many people about how wonderful this hospital is and how they treat you so well. I have lung cancer, am scared , but everyone i have dealt with over this were beyond belief, and took a great deal of fear from me

Ms Julie and Dr Edward Icaza are so patient, compassionate, sensitive, caring and kind. They take time to listen and do not rush you. The procedure was not comfortable but having people like them around me made my day and made it lighter for me. We need to have more people with a heart like them. Many thanks Ms Julie and Dr Icaza.

Dr. Bradley and all of his staff are absolutely the best. I can't say enough good things about my treatment. He has worked with me over the past several years to dial in a treatment plan that has proven to be right on the mark. Always thoughtful, knowledgeable, and caring. Just amazing!

Excellent staff! ALL 9-10 employees that were involved with my cancer surgery were phenomenal. I’m so grateful the nurses, anesthesiologist and Dr. Lasiter were ALL beyond exceptional! All were so friendly and answered all my concerns.

Aside from all the bad reviews I have read here. I did go in hesitant on the experience I was going to have but my experience was really good. Dr. Duarte & his staff was really attentive and kind. Paid really good attention to my concerns & needs directly after my visit I went straight for an X-ray and now waiting to schedule an MRI!!!

Dr. Michael Boyd was my surgeon during my treatment of breast cancer. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone. He took the time to thoroughly explain my procedure to me. He and his staff made me feel at ease and genuinely cared for as a person and a patient from the first visit through post operative care.

Dr. Andrew King and his staff were very caring and professional. The treatment was amazing. It relieved my elbow pain the next day. Thank you for your help.

Everyone at Shannon medical center from receptionists to nurses and lab technicians and doctors are so professional and helpful and efficient. They go the extra mile to make the experience comfortable and very willing to listen to my needs.

Kristen Owen makes Shannon a better Health Service. Dr Owen leads an excellent Staff which makes me feel as though they care best for the patient. Clean in all areas, and offices are comfortable and sanitary. Dr Owen includes the patient in designing a treatment which resolves ailments and assures that the directions are accurate and concise.

Shannon Clinic physicians and staff, as well as Shannon Hospital staff, have been a Godsend to my family for many years. They have saved my parent's lives on a number of occasions in the past and present. Now, they are working so hard to save my fiancé's life. I am SO VERY GRATEFUL to them for all they have done and are doing to keep my loved ones with me!!!

Dr. Nussey provides excellent care and takes his time to listen and resolve any concerns about your health and care. His staff is attentive and friendly. Most of all a very caring staff. That's important to me.
