The Feathered Nest

Look at this adorable nativity set that I just bought. Queenie, is the epitome of southern elegance. What a delightful shopping experience. I swear to the heavens, she has the fastest“square” credit card machine in the West.

Absolutely wonderful shop full of treasures. The clothing is so feminine and flattering for my curvy figure yet looks youthful and current. Lots of gift options. Lots of fun here - not stuffy at all and the staff is so helpful and suggested a few things I otherwise would not have tried and they were perfect! In an area of downtown Plano with lots of unique shops and great restaurants. It was a fun afternoon in Plano!

Unique clothing and jewelry. Owners and staff are warm and inviting. Just walking into the Feathered Nest and seeing the friendly faces and unique items makes shopping here so much fun!

Just popped in last night, should have been closed but the owner graciously invited me in! Found some precious jewels at a remarkable price! Can't wait to return when actually open LOL

Ladies you must stop by! She has so many beautiful pieces, her prices are reasonable and she shows you how to put it all together to make a one of a kind outfit.

I am absolutely disgusted by how one of the employees treated my friend last night. This establishment was on the list of sampling locations for the Plano Art & Wine Walk so we went in. My friend has Chron's disease and asked to use the restroom which they explained they do not have public restrooms - so my friend pulled out her medical card that states she has an urgent medical condition that makes it "extremely difficult to wait to use a restroom." By law they are required to let her use the restroom when she shows this card. After giving her a hard time they finally escorted her to the private restroom (which my friend said the employee who took her back was very kind and understanding). When she was out of ear shot, the employee at the counter said to another customer "Well if she has Chron's she doesn't need to be drinking wine." I turned around and told her that was very rude and that she is actually very careful about what she drinks and wine is one of the few things she is able to enjoy. The employee told me that she had a family member who had the disease so she knows a lot about it and I told her she obviously didn't. She mentioned their handbags and purses were back there - insinuating my friend is a thief. I was horrified how rude this woman was and told her I would not be sampling the wine or making a purchase from her store and she said that's fine - no apologies, no sincerity. When someone in our group went back on for a business card - they were conveniently out.
