Thoroughly impressed!!! This is a top notch environment first and foremost. Next, the knowledgeable barbers provide a great cut. Combine all this with excellent customer service and you've created a great place to accommodate hair and shave needs. Let's not forget the great Made in USA products and quality selection of cigars. Five star, highly recommend!!!!

This was my first ever barber shop experience. I started going to them when they were in a tiny little building. Once they moved to the current location I watched it grow from a couple of chairs to 6. I no longer live in Boerne but came back to visit after 2 years and stopped by for a haircut and beard trim and the place is just as good as my last visit. Gabbi cut my hair and she did an excellent job and the thing I love most about this place is it doesn’t fill like they are rushing to get to the next person but instead truly taking there time to make sure you look good. I live in Mississippi now and so wish there was a barber that comes close to Hauptstrasse.

I really love this barber shop. Its the only place in the San Antonio Metro area that doesn't overcharge for a razor shave and it is an extremely relaxing industrial country setting. The team is extremely personable and not one person seemed unwelcome or not a part of the family. This is the epitome if small business. Walk-ins and appointments are equally welcome.

Let me tell yall, my dude Morgan, he was on point. This was David's first hair cut, Morgan (I hope I'm spelling it right dude) was gentle, patient and understanding of my family taking video. The young lady ( I missed her name), she was so sweet. She let David spray her in the face just to keep him looking forward. Not just once but dozens of times.

I'm a long time fan of this place but today was just exemplary, and showed why shopping local, is always best. Love yall. Hey plus lil man is a handsome lil monster.

Won't be going anywhere else for my son's hair and beard shaped. Will be telling anyone who is looking for a reliable and welcoming barber shop. Resonably priced and friendly atmosphere. Just sorry we didn't find your shop sooner! If you forget to make an appointment ask for Jay he will fit you in!

I have been going to Hauptstrasse for the past year and a half. They are great at what they do and take pride in their profession. The prices are excellent and they are always on time. Your best bet is to schedule an appointment on their website, but they do have a barber there to handle walk-ins. I always get a haircut and a hot shave when I go in. I have used Nate and Javier with excellent results from both. I have watched Rudy work with kids and special needs customers, and he is excellent at making them comfortable and accommodating them. I honestly can't think of anything negative to say.

Definitely give them a try. You will be glad you did.

Hauptstrasse Barber Shop is hands down the best barber shop in the area, and one of the best I’ve ever been to. Great prices, great people, great atmosphere, and even better haircuts. I’ve gone around 10-12 times and every haircut has been perfect, consistent, and professionally done. They make sure you’re getting exactly what you want every time. Personally, I had the hardest time finding a place that gave consistent cuts. Trust me, I’ve had some bad experiences. After years of trial and error I can safely say this is the spot. Don’t go anywhere else. If you want a professional haircut for a great price this is the place. The wait can be long sometimes, but that is a testament to how good they are. Just chill and enjoy a beer because the wait will be 100% worth it.

Another great cut by John! My son is a toddler so it takes a lot of patience for those appointments. They got us in as a walk-in and really made sure my son was comfortable and had fun! We were in and out in no time and my sons hair is the perfect cut! The puppy and the staff are always a joy, we love this shop!

My two boys have been getting their hair cut here for years, since they were in preschool. Nathan is their primary barber and always does an outstanding job, but everyone else is great too, it’s a great team.

Classic barbershop with first class service. I highly recommend making a reservation, but they do take walk-ins. If you need to wait, take a breather in their comfortable chairs and help yourself to a free cold beverage. The witty banter helps make for a very enjoyable experience. Parking can be tight though as it is in downtown Boerne.

Most places like this need an appointment but I just didn't have the time to make one. So I just walked in and by chance got on the seat right away.
Next I said you have the chance experience, do what you want but it has to look good.
Seems most people that say this don't mean it as he asked me if I really mean it. Yep do your thing.
Shortly after I had a great haircut and it. I got what I came for and it was straight forward for me.
I am sure they can do fancy stuff as well I just don't need fancy stuff.

Used to get my hair cut hair here while working for another business close by. After going to others closer to my house it’s obvious that I need to start going back. 25min drive is well worth it for the excellent service they provide. Their beard oil and swag are pretty sweet too. Also love supporting female business owners and vets.

Katy, Nate and the Crew are fantastic, professional barbers and run the best Barber Shop I've been to, period. Their shop is clean, open, and welcoming. Hauptstrasse brings you back to the good memories of the old hometown barber shop with a modern flair. There's a crowd gathered at opening most days and you'll find people go there on walk-ins and hang out after their haircut is done. There's a lot of boutique places that are "man-centered" but are limited to offering you a drink while you wait and hair-stylists rather than licensed barbers to cut your hair. Price is great for anywhere, amazing for the professional job and atmosphere. They take great care of kids haircuts as well. Finding a great business like this in a small town is what makes living in Boerne amazing.

Best barber(s) in Boerne! I recommend scheduling an appointment online if you plan to get a haircut during peak times (weekends especially). Scheduling is easy, fast and you can pay in advance. Overall, this is a great outfit and I highly recommend it.

Like the every guy, poor planning for a special event had me looking for a same day barber at the last minute. Found this gem of a place that allows for walk-ins. I only waited about 10-15 minutes for a great, inexpensive haircut, as well as superb service and atmosphere. Loved the dog as well. Will definitely be going back from now on!

Katy and Nathan are awesome. Love the laid back atmosphere. ESPN On the TV. Cold beer in the fridge. And great conversation. Best part of a Friday is going in, getting a trim (or a pruning as I needed), and not having to think too much about it. They can see your personality, match it with you physical features, and you walk out looking like a million bucks. Best hair cut I've ever had, 4 times in a row now. They are great at what they do! They now have online scheduling through their website which makes it super convenient and lets you avoid the lines!

Not enough good things to say about this place. I was pleased with how my haircut turned out every time I went in, the prices were the best around, it is such a welcoming place and checked off everything I was looking for in a barbershop. Good people, good service, good price-I have been to many barbershops and would put this right up there at the top of the list.

I will also add that I was actually in the shop when the young man was being rude, looking for attention, and a reason to cause a scene with the mask. Nathan isn't lying, as the young man said, he was being very rude and disrespectful.
