It is beautiful place, we walked the Marsh trail easy and accessible for everyone with a nice boardwalk. Trails along the river are dirt roads but not too difficult. Beautiful view of the creek and trees, plenty of benches to sit down and enjoy the peaceful scenery. Each bench is different, it makes the walk interesting, and there are a couple of hidden stairs leading towards the creek. Dinosaur tracks are very interesting place to explore and located right by the parking lot. Picnic tables and clean bathrooms, visitor center and plenty of parking. Free and dog friendly.

This nature preserve is so much fun. There are several trails and even during the winter there is still water flowing and lots to see. The walking trails aren't strenuous ans there is plenty of wildlife. The nature center is nice too and the staff were lovely. Best part? This place is free!

This place is so beautiful and relaxing. The lazy creek had fish and turtles and frogs all living their best life. There were some of the biggest trees I've ever seen down by the creek and I was just floored by how serene it was to just walk around with my family. I really loved it here and I'd love to be able to come back one day.

Our favorite place to go for a walk and to walk our dog and let him have fun. Different scenery as you walk through and we always see wildlife. We have seen lots of deer, a few foxes, snakes, lizards and numerous birds. Our dog loves to play in the water here which we only let him swim in one spot which is off the beaten path. We always go during the week so we never see anyone else which is nice. We really enjoy the lower trail that follows the creek. We come here very often. If you have pets with you please please pick up after them and please don’t litter. Enjoy this awesome park.

Had a great hike here during spring break. Did we get lost? YES 😄 but that's ok, happens when you hike sometimes. It was a lovely day not top busy and great weather.. I would say to make sure you read the map correctly as we definitely didn't and read it completely wrong! But it was still a great experience and we did make our way back eventually :]

Visited and hiked in late February, very few people there, visitor center staffed and open. Need to return when everything is in bloom!

I love going to this place it's very relaxing and only a short 30 minute drive from San Antonio. I find myself going here most days earlier in the morning.

Plenty of photo opportunities both nature and for the family. Kids will love the dinosaur tracks but please don't step in them as it destroys the Dinosaur tracks over time.

What a great park! We enjoyed walking down to the creek. There was so much biodiversity I never expected! No admission fee, although they accept donations.

A great natural area just outside Boerne. It has a small but informative visitor center and hiking trail. The greatest feature however is just a ways down the hiking trail. There you will find Cibolo Creek. It seems to be a little larger then a creek but not quite a river. Huge trees seem to spring forth from it providing plenty of shade and scenery. The water is clear and cool and perfect for wading into. A great spot to forget about life for awhile and enjoy nature.

My 2 year old (and myself!) love playing in the creek, water is cold, fresh and clean. We always tend to make friends with other families here. Spend and hour at the Ag Museum and the cool off at the nature center!

We had our vow exchange ceremony here and the pictures turned out great. The more casual pictures are from when we went on a light hike to scope out picture worthy areas for the day of the photoshoot.

Beautiful place! You really feel outside of town and in the middle of nature. I wish the trails were more clearly marked though. The bathroom was very clean which was super nice.
