Jack's Convenience Stores #8

I bought a 12 pack of cans of Diet Dr. Pepper at this place this morning and when I got to work, I pulled out the first 4 cans and stuck them in the fridge and left the last 8 in the car. The 4 cans in the fridge were all "popped" meaning the top was pushed upwards from being stored in too hot a temperature. I knew I would be drinking those cans but I vowed to take the remaining case back to the store and returning the rest of them. When I got into the car during my lunch hour, I pulled out the remaining 8 cans and found that of the remaining 8, only 3 were popped like the first 4. I still had one from the morning and went in and tried to return the 4 bad cans for cans that were not popped. The staff member said he could not return loose cans since the cans came from a 12 pack. Which is ridiculous. I was pissed but he called his manager who told him to replace my 9 cans with a full 12 pack of Diet Dr. Pepper cans after first checking all the cans to make sure they were not popped. I was very impressed although returned three cans to the staff member. But I wanted to make sure I wrote a positive review for the manager for the excellent customer service.

I very much like going here, and have been at least once a week for over a year now. I am very picky about the cleanliness and presentation of convenience stores that I frequent, and Jack's runs a fine convenience store that stands head and shoulders above the rest here in town. They have good selection, good soda fountains, clean pumps (which they clean every day, this is a big deal to me), clean restrooms, and affable staff.

I also really enjoyed using their car wash and have been since it opened, usually once a week, sometimes more if my vehicle required it. I never like to abuse an automatic wash by bringing in an exceptionally dirty vehicle. Recently, they even added free vacuums, which is awesome! They're a little cramped to use if things are busy, but they are a very nice convenience and work well.

Very clean store , probably one the cleanest in San Angelo not including their other location as well. Good pricing, great employees, awesome atmosphere, whichever you need be it gas , a car wash , a snap , maybe a sandwich , they have you covered. Highly Recommend checking out Jacks as well as which witch !!

Always love a modern convenience store but man it smells like a pet groomers in here today..

New ownership lowered maximum purchase from $150 to $100. I routinely fill up in the $150 range of diesel with auxiliary tank. Now I have to put the pump handle up and start over. What does that accomplish? Will go elsewhere now.

This car wash is HORRIBLE MY TRUCK IS STILL FILTHY, missed spots all over. wheels still dirty, two of the spin brushes not working to clean right side and top..,, I will not be back to this establishment for a car wash!!!!!!

Used to have really good coffee now it smells n tastes like somethin else..dont know what.. n thw whip creams always out n if you ask.. omg.. bought my last cup today n threw away my Jack's mug

Clerk talking on the phone. Don't have what they even stock for weeks. Just rude and terrible customer service. I won't go back.
