River Road Park

Very nice and has a lot of ducks/geese - and soooo many turtles! Just turtles everywhere - a TMNT party on every block. Nice trail with a dog waste station and some restrooms. The restrooms are purely in case of emergencies - they're not the cleanest. Plenty of parking on the street - and restaurants across said street!

Amazing park in a small town. The park has a long trail along the river stream. It has beautiful scenic landscape. During fall time the tree changes its color makes it picture perfect. Its in a small German town. You can enjoy the foods in the restaurants just besides this park and enjoy the nature.

Went on vacation and lived this place. It's so peaceful and clean. They really take care of this area. The wild life is human friendly. This is a place to go when you just want to relax and think or even take a lunch break. I will be returning soon!

Awesome transformation at the park. I'm affiliated with the VA at Albany and local VFW in which we do a once a month river road park cleanup. Really great to see people enjoying the park again.

Boerne did a great job in restoring the river road path. The bridges are cool and the landscape is pretty, Although I don't understand why the metal bridge, because when it gets wet it's super slippery, but it does look good! Same with the Library that the bridge has the metal footing and it gets slippery when wet.

This is a beautiful little park in Boerne, TX. Love to see the ducks and the River. If I lived in Boerne I would go there at least 3 times a week for my early am walking. It is nicely located close to Main St and restaurants on river rd. Well kept and nice walking trails

Beautiful park area and nature trail in Boerne off the Cibolo Creek. Family-friendly, great for a picnic and nearby a lot of cute shopping areas. Also, bring your fishing pole and a blanket and have a good time!

Very nice, peaceful, shaded alone the river, was amazed at the number of turtles in this river.
Very well planned, wide walkways with extensions out over the river.

Nice paved trail along the back of Boerne’s main strip. Plenty of shade on hot days.

OMG! *Your 1st Destination in Boerne, TX Must be the paved 1+ mi. swerving paved path meanders among, under trees along the Cibolo Creek you'll not even Notice the Distance you've walked! Folks pass sayin, " Hi. " Every group. Here, feel the peace of nature, light wind touching your face
You'll stare as you walk under the Bridge, see the working/functioning "Mill Wheel" & be charmed by all the seemingly tame wood ducks & geese. It's January, huge Canadian geese walk among others - & us. A gentleman on a brilliant red bench facing the Creek (surrounded by ducks) tossed a handfuls of cracked corn towards me, as ducks ran towards me!

** 1/21/21. Can anyone ID this photo #1-"Duck"? Whsts the name of this guy? .. Looks like shape of a Cormorant, but has splayed feet of a duck & Golden eyes...odd, but friendly fella. I just added 3 more pictures I took of this golden bird...

A quiet Sunday in Boerne. Great walking trail along Cibolo creek.

Beautiful park very calm and relaxing. It's such a great place to sit by the side of the river and have lunch on one of the benches. Or if you prefer to catch your lunch you can always whip out a fishing pole and try your luck there.

Great place for a walk along a beautiful stretch of river. Excellent views and plenty of places to sit along the way and take it all in. Wonderful shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance from here.

Always clean and beautiful. One of my favorite places to take my kids for a nice day out feeding ducks and enjoying the outdoors.
