ViewPoint Hotel

Location couldn't be better! The views are obviously stunning, the grounds are beautiful, and they have bikes you can use to quickly and easily get into town or to Long Sands Beach. The rooms are gorgeous and extremely clean.

We actually had our wedding here as well! In addition to their regular big weddings, they also offer smaller events where you can just rent the grounds for 2 hours, which was perfect for our small 25 person wedding - the staff was incredible and the day went off flawlessly! Highly recommend for a stay, or for your wedding :)

I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at ViewPoint this fall and MAN, what a view! There are so many wedding venues in York and none of them offer a backdrop for your ceremony like ViewPoint. Nubble Lighthouse is RIGHT THERE behind where you will get married. Every photograph from your ceremony will be magical.

In addition to the great view the bridal suite I was able to see was ADORABLE. Spacious and well lit. It was perfect.

The staff is great, the view is great. You couldn't ask for more from your wedding venue.

Staying at the ViewPoint in York, Maine is truly a one of a kind experience. I grew up in York and the Nubble is a special place that holds a lot of memories. The ViewPoint is an elevated experience that brings new magic, while also making you feel at home. Thoughtful touches shine throughout with the design, local items, and care for the environment. The views of sunset and sunrise are breathtaking and unforgettable. I wish that everyone who visits my hometown gets to experience the ViewPoint at least once.

One of my favorite places in the world to visit and relax. The views of the Nubble Light House are fantastic, check your room description as all rooms wiews vary a bit. They have also put in several new rooms that are built into the hillside, look oretty cool. As others have mentioned the wedding venue is becoming a much bigger thing here, well it is a beautiful spot. So maybe check when booking, or book Sun-Thur. They do have an outdoor food trailer that has cocktails and some food. Foxes Restaurant is a 5 minute walk down the road ( they leave a lantern in the room for night time walks), and great ice cream is across the street. The walk to short sands isnt bad either. The regular rooms appear to have been updated. We came here the first year the VP opened, and it is still an incredible view. It is a tough view to beat in Maine. Kids can be a bit noisy running up and down stairs, but this is "Vacation Land". There is a pool and plenty of lawn chairs to sit and relax, or just sit on your balcony. The VP does have other properties nearby and they will transport there for the restaurant I believe. They werent doing daily room cleaning this year, but would bring towels or whatever else was needed. They also have a morning Yoga class outside in the early morning. A most unique property.

Viewpoint is a breathtakingly beautiful wedding venue and hotel. The rooms are all incredible and we greatly appreciated all of the amenities provided in each room. The views of the Nubble Lighthouse are stunning and the venue is, in short, perfect. We greatly appreciated having Haven and Aly's day of support for our wedding and they helped us ensure everything ran smoothly with the vendors. Our guests could not stop gushing about how it all came together, and we were so grateful to be able to have our families on site for the entire weekend.

Booked the upper townhouse suite and it felt surreal to wake up with the ocean waves crashing into the rocks below each morning. The unit was very clean and the staff made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. It is a great location to enjoy the Maine coast. Would recommend to book this in May or early June before the busy summer season.

Phenomenal. They thought of absolutely everything- even a lantern, flashlight and binoculars (not that you even need them!). We got engaged right on the balcony of suite 105. What a beautiful view of my favorite place in the world. We got a great deal considering the time of the year but we will be back no matter the cost!! See you soon!

Wish I could give this place 10 stars. The room was beautiful, incredibly spacious, and clean. The view was to die for , my husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and loved waking up to the ocean every morning. The outdoor area was beautiful with plenty of seating and amazing stone patio overlooking the ocean and the Nubble lighthouse. We can’t wait to come back and will definitely recommend for our family and friends to stay here as well!

I stayed at the Viewpoint and it was an absolutely gorgeous place to vacation. It has resort vibes with a laid back attitude. The views from the hotel room were stunning, I guess that's why they call it "The Viewpoint!" I loved the huge lawn and the pool. The rooms were super clean, and having a full kitchen to cook in was great for my family. The hotel is within walking distance to both beaches in York and many fun restaurants and shops. This would be a dream place to host a wedding, I hope to have mine here someday. Thank you to the Viewpoint staff for an amazing stay!

Our first time away from the kids since the pandemic hit. We've been fortunate to stay at places all over the world and this was a top notch experience. Room was gorgeous. View stunning. Communication with staff excellent (and all virtual). The owners should be really proud of the "experience" they have created for guests. We were impressed with the detailed COVID-19 protocols that were in place -- we didn't have to interact with one staff member or go into any shared public space. All the virtual communication was perfect. For my out of state friends, each suite has a kitchen so you could bring your own food or support the local businesses who offer delivery and curbside pick-up.

Stayed three nights in early November 2018. Room was absolutely beautiful and decorated in a serene California surf/beachy style. Accommodations consisted of a living/dining combo area, a spacious bedroom, and a bathroom that included a laundry area. Everything was incredibly clean; we even complimented the staff on how great everything smelled. Kitchen area is well stocked if you choose to cook in. Nubble lighthouse views from both the bedroom and living area were spectacular! We could have sat there all day just watching the light change from morning to night. We spoke with (who we believed to be the owner) several times. She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions. Overall, very enjoyable stay. Highly recommend! Yes, photo below was taken from the porch of our room. How can you get more perfect than that!

Stayed here for a late season weekend. Very nice. Incredible suite with a full kitchen, very cozy with a gas fireplace and cute seating area. Incredible views of the lighthouse and ocean. Very clean. Friendly and attentive staff. Fun snacks available in room. Great location and lots of fun stuff to do close by. Beaches shopping etc. Great restaurants near town. Will stay here again. I expect big weddings are more chaotic but wow what a stunning beautiful location with big pool and sea side terraces! Very peaceful on my visit.

We had a fantastic stay at the ViewPoint Hotel. The staff was communicative and accommodating. The view simply cannot be beat. The food at the Stones Throw restaurant was wonderful. This blows other hotels out of the water. We are so pleased with our visit! -The Vierzen Family

I've been here twice now, once over Christmas with my extended family and once during the Summer for a family party and this may be the best place I've ever stayed. Between Christmas and Summer a lot of enhancements have been added, things I would never of thought of like replacing the porch railings with glass. Now the view even from inside is just breathtaking. Staff are outstanding. The unit we stayed in (3 bedroom) felt so much like home. It really put the emphasis of the experience on the people there. Just amazing. So lucky to have had the opportunity to visit.

Great spot with great views of Nubble Lighthouse. The rooms here have been updated and are very clean and just feel like home. The area out back has ample seating for relaxing and listening to the waves. The view isn't too bad either.

There really is a great view of the Nubble Lighthouse from the grounds. I could even see it from the living room window of the suite. It is great having a fully functional kitchen, gas fireplace and separate bedrooms. The staff is very personable. A home away from home, as it were. Would recommend to family and friends.

The weekend was perfect! The suite was immaculate and decorated to perfection. You could tell the designer put much thought into it. The view of the Nubble with the waves crashing( we were there during a storm) was amazing!! The manager, Valerie made sure our every need was met. She went above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing weekend away. We obviously didn't get to use the salt water pool but another time!!

Viewpoint hotel has... as you might expect a Great View of the Nubble Light (The iconic landmark of York) and the Atlantic Ocean. Clean. Neat. Trendy and Well kept rooms and grounds. We stayed off season mid week and found the staff nice and eager to accommodate a few small requests. (They also let us in on the great places where the locals go..) I am sure someone picky could find a problem with it- but we didn’t, we loved it. Recommended!

Spent 5 days at ViewPoint with the family and had an ABSOLUTELY fantastic time. Everything from the set-up of the property to the room decor to the landscaping of the grounds was top-notch and tastefully done in all regards. The staff, literally, work like ninjas - you never see them but EVERYTHING gets tended to. The location of the property is ideal! Very peaceful. I would not hesitate in the least to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderfully relaxing outing. A huge unintended PLUS was Dunne's Ice Cream directly across the street.
