Will definitely return any time I'm in the area! We ordered a sub and chicken fingers with fries. Price was reasonable and was prepared fast considering how busy they were. Everything tasted amazing! We even got dessert to-go and a pre-made meal to take home for later. There is a little dining room you can eat in, but we chose the picnic tables outside.

The best food stop & shop. Perfect for travelers looking for grab and go food handmade with care! We stopped in here and picked up a delicious pasta dinner to bring back to our Airbnb. It also became our daily wine and snack stop! The people are really nice too. Wish we had an Anthony’s back home!!

Great spot with fresh baked food and essentials like beer and gatorades. Not expecting this at a gas station stop. Also connected to a great coffee shop that’s affordable.

I am in Washington state and my son is working in York, Maine right now. His birthday was yesterday. I called Anthony’s at the beginning of the week and placed a cake order and then called back yesterday. The staff was extremely polite and helpful. They were able to deliver the cake, pizza and soda to my son for his birthday. I am extremely grateful and appreciative that even on opposite sides of the United States they exceeded any customer service around.

We were in a not so great mood, b/c we had just spent an hour trying for a parking spot at Perkins Cove for a meal. Drove to York and stopped at this gas station just to use the bathroom. What a sweet surprise when we walked in! The place is quirky with all kinds of things going on - coffee shop, bakery, deli, general store, wood fired pizza - yes they were putting pizza in the flames right there!
We ended up splitting the crispy haddock sandwich and it was huge as well as delicious. We took a chocolate Whoopie pie to split for later, but I couldn’t wait more than 5 minutes to eat my half as we traveled to Camden for the night. Excellent chocolate cake with a generous amount of sweet filling.
This stop at Anthony’s fulfilled our goal of traveling with no plan except for happening upon surprise spots along the way.
My husband and I heartily recommend Anthony’s Food Shop.

Oh my goodness! We are visiting the town and went there with our host family. When I saw it was part of a Shell gas station, I admit that my hopes were not high. But, my opinion quickly changed!! The selection of foods is soooo impressive: homemade cupcakes, giant cookies, whoopie pies, pizza, and all sorts of deli foods. Prices are reasonable and staff is friendly. So glad we came here!

There’s a massive variety fresh made Sandwiches, pasta salads, rice dishes all freshly made and the Sandy’s are LOADED a with meat 😜👍. It's been two years since our vacation in York and I dream of returning to Anthony's! We stopped every morning, and then again at night. It was such a delightful surprise being attached to a gas station. We can't wait to return.

This was one of the best surprises on a quick stop for gas, the coffee is amazing and the food was delicious. We are already making plans to come back in the morning for breakfast tomorrow. Highly recommend!

This place rocks! They don’t even need my insignificant review because if you ever have the honor of going there for yourselves, you’ll see. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, THE FRESHEST salads, THE BEST coffee, Whoopie Pies, desserts, oh and on top of it all, it’s a gas station! Why, oh WHY do we not have Anthony’s in Upstate NY!!!!!!! All the more reason to return to Maine! See ya next time!

Every time we go here, it never fails. They're packed. But, the food is always spot and the wait is never very long.

Happened upon Anthony’s during a routine bathroom break on our way home from Acadia, what a great place, very clean, some of the best sandwiches and pastries we have had anywhere! Very busy yet quick and efficient considering volume of people that were there. We would and will most definitely make a point of going back to if ever we are in the area.

This gas station / deli / coffee shop is just simply AWESOME. You cannot go wrong with any of the food or drinks here. The breakfast burrito is the bomb!

Food is always hot and cooked exactly as ordered! Tons of gluten free options, which is something you wouldn’t expect. Anthony’s is a must-stop every time I go to Maine!

Rushing back to Ogunquit from Portsmouth on a busy Labor Day weekend, I stopped into Anthony’s to grab something for lunch. Everyone was waiting for their orders, so I just got a few pieces of a pie I’ve not had yet (eggplant), and I was back in the road in 5 minutes total.

First, the slice sizes were GENEROUS. One slice was like any other shop’s two. Second, this breaded eggplant pizza was to die for!! The sauce was sweet, and the breaded eggplant was melt-in-your-mouth tender. This is a definite future order for me!

Always fresh baked goods, hot breakfast sandwiches, great prepackaged food options and made to order food! But most of all, great friendly staff!

What a great stop! Food was great, coffee was awesome, and the friendly staff took the time to whip up a side order of bacon for our hungry 7yr old!

The wife and I both agree this is the best iced latte we’ve ever had. The head roster was on site roasting beans while we were there. We talked for a while. Great guy. Highly recommend stopping here for coffee, snacks, and anything else you need for the journey.

We randomly stopped at this place because we needed gasoline for our vehicle. Didn't read any reviews or didn't hear about this place and had no idea what to expect - W-O-W! Awesome stop! Highly recommend! They have a wood-fired pizza oven and an extensive menu with deli sandwiches, soups, salads, etc. Apparently, they make whole cakes too?! We only saw bakery items, pre-wrapped and ready to grab-go, while we were there but according to other reviews, I just read online a few minutes ago, they take orders and deliver also!?! Amazing for a gas station stop. I highly recommend this place. Yay! Happy find and will definitely recommend to people!

We tried their pizza, and it was good! We went with a chicken, mozzarella, pesto panini and it was delicious! Their squash soup was soothing tasty goodness for the soul and the staff said it was made fresh at the back so I'm always thankful to hear that! At $2.99 for a regular portion, I truly thought the pricing was surprising since all these other places are overpriced these days and at Anthony's, you're getting portions with reasonable pricing. Salads ordered at the restaurant counter are super fresh and huge! The Greek one was made into 3 good-sized meals for $10. Seriously on point!! Yum!!!!

Will definitely keep this on our list of places to re-visit.

Great friendly staff and fast service!

The only downfalls are that there's 1 personal restroom in the whole place and we went now (April 2023) and it was pretty busy. I can only imagine in the summer time, there will be line-ups for a single toilet restroom. Yikes! Also, parking was available when we were there, however, in the summer, I can only imagine the hectic chaos that will be happening there. Something to consider!
