Incredible variety and great customer service. Smells amazing inside! Homemade chocolates that you can tell were made with lots of love and care. Unique items like chocolate covered Pringles, Twinkies and devil dogs. A great assortment of unique and classic taffy flavors and the chocolate ravioli is delicious! A must stop if you’re in York!

I stopped in after being asked to pick up a laundry list of high fluentant branded candies for a holiday party. I didn't have time to mail order them and most weren't available locally. I found comparable substitutes and more at Candy Corner. Everything was a hit with the guests. Some of the more campy treats made for more fun than could have otherwise been expected.

Their toffee is sooo delicious 😋. Taffy flavors were, ( I felt like I walked into Willy wonker store) savory and sweet and some in between! I think you'll be pleasantly surprised! My favorite candy store in short sands hands down!!! The owner works the counter too, such a pleasant place. Gave my grandchildren each a lollipop when we went to check out.

Family owned. Amazing home made chocolates. Great fudge, taffy and more!!! I just had favors for my mother's 50th Anniversary dinner made from Johnny's Candy Corner and everyone absolutely loved them!

Met the hilarious Carl working this afternoon. I had the chocolate covered Pringles, Ooey Gooey Brownie, Peanut Butter Cup and a chocolate covered Nutter Butter. Delicious !

After having had another horrible experience at Sweet Josies (see my other review) Johnny's Candy Corner was a huge surprise. Great selection, good prices and SUPER FRIENDLY staff made going to the candy store fun like it should be. I have been in York for many years and for some reason I have completely overlooked them. MY MISTAKE. Give them a try, you won't be disappointed.

Owned by a lovely local couple, Candy Corner is like the dime stores of days past. Many selections including their homemade fudge and pralines will leave your sweet tooth satisfied!

Chocolate covered bacon... something I had to try. It was ok, I would not get it again. But I can say I tried it.

They also had many more traditional candies, gum, fudge and other snaks.

Delicious sweets. Very nice old fashioned feel with several different sweets, chocolate, etc. Very nice old man. Currently doing orders at the window due to pandemic.

So welcoming! And the chocolate and fudge to die for! Johnny made our visit unforgettable. Appreciate the experience

This was our last stop out of town on our weekend getaway. Google said it didn't open til noon but when we went by at 930, all the signs were out that it was open. The candy store made it feel like I stepped back 3+ decades, in the best way possible. The owner and his daughter were the nicest, most welcoming people we have ever met. The candy/fudge/selection was incredible. Will probably make special trip to York JUST to go back to this store

I've always liked taffy, but *this* taffy is on a whole different level, I've never had taffy flavors this accurate! Cinnamon roll? Chocolate Chip Cookie? Pumpkin Pie? They seemed like silly flavors, so we bought some for the giggles, but they were so absolutely delicious that we had to go back the very next day to get more. I've had plenty of normal flavors, but cran-raspberry, hot cocoa, apple pie? HOW DO YOU FIT A WHOLE PIE WORTH OF FLAVOR INTO A TAFFY?!

The sign that got us in the door was for "Chocolate Ravioli" which I now believe is the perfect shape for the ideal chocolate-to-filling ratio. Again, it seemed a little silly, but it was downright amazing! We got more of those the next day too.

So yeah, the Candy Corner is something very special, and I really wish I could give them more than 5 stars. I'm gonna miss them when we go home, and I'm going to look forward to coming back here every year.

Stopped in to find the door locked (didn’t realize it was just after closing). The owner opened the door and ushered us in. He was making jokes, telling tales and was happy to stay a bit longer and let us shop. We got the chocolate raviolis, which are amazing! A bag full of salt water taffy and a few other goodies. Everything is so good!!!! Thank you for being so kind!

Johnny’s loving smile and warm heart is worth the trip by itself. Then you start tasting their chocolate and it’s like heaven itself opened up it’s own candy shop. Delicious!!!! The fudge is the best I’ve ever had. The peanut butter cup was out of this world. The chocolate is so creamy. Absolutely a must stop! If you do tell Johnny Roscoe and Lizzy said hi! ❤

We stumbled upon this top rated store in York, Me. Because the Golden Rod was closed. WOW, this has to be the best salt water taffy on the planet. This place is a most for all you taffy lover's out there.

No joke, this is the best candy store in York. Of course they have great selection candy. Of course their prices are super fair. But It was their customer service that blew us out of the ocean! We will definitely be back, especially for their sea salted, milk chocolate, pecan turtels. My mother, who just turned 89, said the turtle we bought for her was the best she had ever had. Kudos to Candy Corner and their amazing staff! And thank you for being one of our sweetest highlights at York!
