Malahini Terrace

A perfect blend of Chinese cuisine with a nice Hawaiian aesthetic. They do a fantastic job decorating the restraunt with fake palm trees, Hawaiian tiki, Chinese statues and a nice aquarium with big fish inside! Food is great. Crab ranging and the potstickers are recommended. And their Boba smoothies and tea You can't top that !

We came across Malahini Terrace almost by accident- and I'm glad we did! We were there just into the New Year. I really like the Polynesian and Asian decor and they have a huge selection of both on the menu. The food was served family style with large, delicious portions. We will definitely be back!

Well kept up for 50 years in the area , I remember eating here in high school as it is across from Hinsdale South HS and the employees were very pleasant and accommodating. Thank you for the awesome Boba drinks yum banana and pineapple WOW!

The food was very delicious. I'm definitely coming back soon. Egg rolls is the most popular appetitzer here I believe. But wonton soup is my favorite before the main dishes. Orange chicken is crispy outside and juicy inside. Mapo tofu is very authentic if you like spicy. Monogolian beef pairs great with rice. Their homemade ice cream is surprisingly good. Thumbs Up!!!

We love Malahini Terrace! It is our favorite place. My spouse and I usually eat in under the cute thatch huts and twinkle lights. We get the meal for 2, which includes soup (hot & sour, egg drop) egg rolls & crab rangoon, and choice of two entries. Our picks are the Oriental Plate (pork fried rice, BBQ pork & BBQ ribs) and the Malahini Beef (tender straps of beef and veggies). This last time, we ordered out to feed our family of eight. Plenty of food, with leftovers for another day! Don't forget the fortune cookies and the silly way to read them. Wink wink.

This was the best Chinese Food I have ever eaten, hands down! It was fresh, hot and prepped with care. We were highly impressed and will be going back as regular customers! My 7 year old is still asking to go back.

We live both dine in and takeout from Malahini Terrace. The vibe of the restaurant is Polynesian and gives a warm weather vibe break from the grey, cold, snowy wintertime. Their drink specials are always amazing and the food is exactly what you would expect, but for wonderful prices and with excellent family service. We also appreciate their fast delivery which they coordinate themselves so there is no up charge for it like you see on various food delivery apps. This time we ordered dinner in but have gotten lunch and dinner both delivered and in house over the course of 10 years with no issues.

This is the best Chinese restaurant around! I bought crab Rangoon, hot and sour soup, and chicken. All were delicious! Definitely recommend.

every thing was exactly as advertised .the delivery person was nice .i have been pleased with taste quality of food.i can count on a good meal.l have been pleased with the service and food.i order from there often.

I just went there earlier tonight for dinner. It was amazing! I had the Sweet and Sour Delight. The shrimp were huge. The sauce was just right. Not overly sweet. I also had the Shrimp Toast. Delicious. Very few Chinese restaurants have this.The waitress was very sweet and smiling. This is not only my favorite Chinese restaurant now, but one of my favorite restaurants period. Can't wait to go back.

We used to eat here back in the 80s and 90s and eventually we moved far away. I actually drove an hour just to eat here again recently. I am blown away that their egg rolls are still by far the best I have ever had. It was such a trip coming back there and looked pretty much the same as I remembered back in the normal days lol.

Flaming Tidbits and smoothies for the kids. I recommend the Mongolian Beef and the Salt n' Pepper Chicken. If you want to get super authentic then order the Steamed Fish Fillet in Black Bean Sauce off the Authentic Chinese Menu. This is my favorite restaurant.

Great food but the eggs rolls are to die for! Homemade fresh and crispy outside. Add the duck sauce and you'll love it and wish you got more.

Very nice, food was delicious and my server was very kind. I also love that their prices are lower than other Chinese restaurants me and my family go to. Thai tea is definitely a must.⭐🧋

I went in and i asked if he had some chicken and rice inna bowl. He shows me the lunch special i got it and it was STEAMING fresh. Ion ever think i got food this fresh from a restaurant before i had the takeout box open for like 10 min and it was still steaming

I have to say this is the nicest restaurant around. The people that work here are really nice. The place is extremely clean. The food is absolutely fantastic. If your in, pick up or delivery this place gets you the food fast.

We really enjoyed our food. Had it delivered and it was hot and fresh, even received order 10 minutes sooner then expected. Very nice and courteous service. Reasonable prices. Definitely get more for your money. We will be ordering again.

We have ate here a few times and food has always been very good. Recently i placed a order for delivery. It came quick and it was hot. Not to mention delicious.

Great place. Lots of choices, great tasting food, great portion sizes, and all at great prices. I've done dine-in and takeout, all with great results. Highly recommend.
