North 40 Truck and Trailer Service

I broke down on I - 55 exit 83 with a turbo hose break. I called my breakdown to let them know after 3hrs of waiting for breakdown to fi d someone, I Google 24hr repair shops by me nand North 40 truck and trailer repair came up , I called left message. With in 30 minutes or so Jake called me back and said he could repair the semi. So I let my breakdown call Jake to it all up the repair and payment. With in one hour Jake pulls up looks at the problem, he made a call and said I'll be back in 40 minutes or so and he was . Ten minutes later I'm back on the road. Jake was professional, efficient and knowledgeable. Great job if I breakdown again near Springfield, IL I know who to call and I know he will get the job done right. 5 Stars Jake thank uou.Oh yea my company was going to tow the semi back to Chicago land which would cost $$$$$

My semi recently broke down near Farmersville, IL on my way to deliver a load to Elgin, IL. I called North 40 Truck and Trailer service who came out in a timely fashion. Karson arrived and immediately went into action. Despite his best attempts the problem persisted and suggested that I bring my truck to the shop. This dynamic duo took the time to thoroughly investigate, diagnosis and resolve my mechanical issues. Who would have thought a fuse that couldn't be tested , that gave a false reading was the culprit. I was back on the road the next day. I highly recommend North 40 Truck and Trailer Service for all semi truck repair services.

We had a break down in interstate 55 in our 45’ Motorhome at midnight January 22 it was 10° and nobody was answering their phone to help us.
Jake picked up his phone at 11:59 pm and said he would be there within the hour. 58 minutes later he arrived and we worked on the Motorhome trying to get it started for and hour. It would not start.
Jake had to tow our 45’ Motorhome to his shop and thaw out our diesel fuel. He got the Motorhome to his shop at 4:30 am and worked on getting it thawed.
We picked the Motorhome up at about 2:00 pm and headed on our way.
I would use North 40 Truck and Trailer Repair anytime. These guys know what they are doing and do it in a very professional way.

I broke down they picked me up from my motel room, took me to get parts from Freightliner and fixed my truck better than most of my own personal mechanics. Whatever I do! Repaired three tank straps to fuel lines and a heater hose! Absolutely the best roadside repair I’ve ever used in 32 years. … DONK.

Very nice people with Excellent service. My rear-end went out on my truck and they got me in and out the shop in a very timely manner. They put the drivers first here understanding tjat if we not running we not making money. Service was very fair priced as well. Jake is the man to speak to whenyour in need of some work done

Jake was the mobile mechanic sent by CoachNet when our RV broke down north of Litchfield. He quickly determined the fuel line had dislodged from the filter housing and reattached it in an effort to get to the RV shop in Springfield. Unfortunately, the filter was plugged and we broke down again. Jake arranged to have us towed to his shop by a local towing service and then fixed our RV while we went on in a rental car for our vacation to the Great Lakes. When we returned, he had it fixed up and only charged us parts and an hour of labor when he could have billed for more. I know he talked a couple of times with the Mercedes dealer to verify he had the right diagnosis and parts to fix it. It's run like a champ ever since. Good, honest shop.

These folks are truly a blessing to the industry, Wind chill was 30 below and these folks went and got the truck and driver of the road and back to his shop, (63 miles one way at 2 AM) The service and work performance was phenomenal, When I received the invoice I was shocked at how reasonable these folk are. Highly recommended**********

The guys were pros they knew what they were doing and they also keep in touch with me to make sure the truck is running fine.

Jake is the man with the plan whenever you having problems with your rig call Jake he will get you back running no matter what the problem is, and also the labor fee is the best in the nation trust me.
