Great food! Great people! Very few places like it left! Worth a try!

My husband and I come for brunch every week. The food is always fantastic, especially breakfast, and reasonably priced. We went to Denny's in Litchfield instead once and paid twice as much for food that was half the quality. Service is always top notch as well. Highly recommend the breakfast shoes, omelettes, pancakes (literally the size of the entire plate), and patty melt.

A unique, colorful atmosphere, great service, and delicious breakfasts! I also love their fried chicken and Reubens. If you're from Carlinville, you'll probably run into people you know. A great, friendly hometown restaurant!

It was Mother's Day and the place was packed! Our waitress was fast and friendly and the food was wonderful. Prices are great. This place has never disappointed and on a day I would have expected things to not be as perfect I was pleasantly surprised how well everything went. If you have not eaten here I would recommend it.

Husband and I try to make it here every Saturday for breakfast or brunch. Everyone is always very nice and the food is good... homestyle just like Ma makes. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are abundant.

We went on a Saturday morning they were quite busy. We were seated quickly and our food came out super fast. Our food was hot and delicious. It was nice how often the checked to see if we needed refills.

My grandma and I came here for lunch about a year ago. It was amazing. The chicken strips I had were so good. They tasted hand battered and not frozen which is very nice. Our waitress was very good and checked on us. It's a nice small restaurant with good food.

Waitress was really sweet. Got the eggs and toast and they were both good. Wasn't sure how it would be walking in, but did not disappoint.

Usually come here for horseshoes but today I decided to get a taco salad it was well put together lettuce was Crisp and juicy best taco salad ever had waitress was excellent one of the best cafes I've been around in Central Illinois especially for the horseshoes and now Taco salads

Some of the best food with great staff! Super clean n friendly. Never had a bad thing to say about the Cafe. 5 stars..... hands down one the best places to eat at!!!! Must try!!!

Always a great place to stop in and grab a bite to eat. I've never had anything here that I didn't like. Staff are friendly and food has always been delicious.

Just came home from brunch with my family and I was very happy. I love to see the variety on the menu. I loved my Walleye fritters. Everyone at my table was satisfied. Our server was quick and so patient eaepcespec since I was so needed. We order three appetizers. And I was constantly asking for more sauces but she was amazing. I never hit the bottom of glass of sweet tea.

Very impressed with this Cafe. I was surprised how low the bill was. It's nice to know you can get a good meal for a low price! Service was excellent too!
