The irresponsible rich running this town must be in competition for worst run suburb. I have an email stating mail should've arrived every day for the last 3 days & I haven't received anything. This is just my most recent terrible experience living in DG.

The public works department here is the worst. Months of digging up the street and then repair. It’s not exactly a big street, days when nothing is done just a mess all around. Days where residents don’t get notification that water will be turned off. And in the process, they dig up part of the driveway and then they walk away leaving a mess. When called about it, it’s apparently for us to fix it.

1 word. Ridiculous. Lack of communication in the office. Uninformed people following government regulations blindly without using common sense and making it virtually impossible to build a house in DG. Hurricane straps required on a house in Illinois????, insane dry wells, inspection upon inspection ever time piling up additional charges. No common sense knowledge exercised here.

Hopefully they realize the right way of law as a public service.the truth will set us free!!!!
