Crowe's Cottages

Amazing location in York Beach located between Long Sands and Short Sands, while still being tucked away. We walked to and from the beach many times during our stay and enjoyed a lot of the great restaurants in the area. The interior was cute, rustic, and very beachy. I loved being able to take bring my dog with us. We will definitely stay there again!

The most wonderful cottages out on York Beach. Perfect size and great distance to both beaches! The owners are so incredibly friendly! Great place to grill and even better picnic tables to enjoy the sun. Very quiet and by far the best possible location to get everywhere! This made for a perfect 1st year wedding anniversary trip! We will definitely be back next year for wedding anniversary #2!

Well-maintained, quiet, dog-friendly place to stay with a very short walk to the beach. Comfortable and clean spaces inside. We definitely recommend Crowe's and we'd consider staying here again.

The Crowe's Cottages were such a great place to host our small, outdoor backyard wedding! We rented the collection of cottages and used the common space to host our dream event. The cottages were great because each family was able to stay in their own space, yet stay right near one another! The common area is a beautiful place to share meals, play outdoor games, and enjoy Maine! The cottages themselves are quaint and adorable, but also include anything you might need: a small kitchen equipped with cooking supplies, hot showers, Wifi, TV, etc. The location is unbeatable to all things York. It's within minutes of Short Sands AND Long sands. For this rate, you won't find anything better!

We loved our cabin, it was super cozy and convenient. The hosts are really easy to work with too.

Stayed here for a week in August. Really enjoyed the location and cottage. Very clean with fast internet. Close to everything! Would stay here again when I visit York!

Very close to the beaches and shopping in town! Beds were clean and comfortable. Cottage was neither cute nor well appointed. Would never hold 6 people, we were 3 and it was tight. Grounds have not been well maintained but the picnic table was well built and useful. Bathroom was quite tight but the water was hot! Would not attempt cooking as the stove was not clean. Location is great though!

The location is great, right beside the beautiful beach but the bungalow we rented was filthy...... Lots of sand on the sofa cover, sand in the shower, table not clean at all with dry ketchup on top + not soundproofed. You can follow outside discussions while lying in your bed inside... Well, it can be a concept but not the one we were looking for especially with young children...

Hidden Fees and Broken Agreements.

During a conversation with this owner we discussed pricing for one of her cottages this weekend, specifically pet fees for my pup. I asked for a total (rental rate, cleaning fee, and pet fee) and she quoted me $317, which I accepted. When she sent me the "special offer" reservation the total came to $339, not a big difference for taxes and fees and what not. I booked the reservation. Shortly after the host sent another request for $50 for a pet fee. Any reasonable person would have assumed when they asked for a total, right after discussing pet fee, that said fee would be included in that total.

Needless to say it was a total let down after being excited to find what looked like such a nice place. It's ridiculous that an owner would act in such a sketchy way.
