1. Very clean rooms. Very spacious too for a room during peak season on the coast of Maine.

2. Great front desk staff—super friendly. Also the lobby is VERY nice.

3. A short walk to Short Sands beach.

4. Pool is heated AND clean!

On top of that it’s reasonably priced, too.

I stayed for several nights. The room was nice and comfortable, even bigger than expected. The bathroom and room were clean. The staff were amazing and very helpful! Great location for walking to both beaches and the Nubble.

This place is great. Friendly helpful very nice staff. My bed was soft, comfortable. My room attractive and clean. I slept quite well! I never sleep well in other hotels, beds too hard. I would and will stay here again!

Super clean room, awesome and friendly staff. Location is perfect for beach and shopping. 3 minutes of walking to beach. 2 minutes of driving to stores. We would definitely stay here again.

The employees were incredibly nice & accommodating. Matt was so helpful changing our reservation a bit due to the hurricane. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the pool was well maintained....my daughter loved it. Short walk to everywhere. Couldn't be happier, and will be sure to stay here again if we visit York in the future!

We came to York Beach to visit with college friends who live in the area, and stayed at this hotel. We were warmly welcomed and shown to a simple, newly renovated, and very comfortable room. We asked for and received advice about restaurants for dinner (no easy thing on a Tuesday evening in later October). These buildings are old and beautifully renovated, and still retain their original charm. We have already recommended this hotel to a number of people.

My sister and I booked a getaway just for us and we loved staying here. Super quiet, clean and close to the beach. The beds were amazing and comfortable. We had a sweet deck on the front so we could see the ocean. The pool and hot tub were clean and just the right temperature when we needed them. The breakfast had amazing coffee and plenty of choices. The staff was super friendly and fun to chat with. We are definitely going back next summer!

I loved everything about this little inn. Our room was clean and spacious with a view of the ocean. My children enjoyed the pool and we were lucky enough to have perfect weather during our stay. The breakfast was nice although there was a bit of lack of sitting. I had to eat outside in beach chairs, so a table would of been nice. It was just minutes away from a beautiful light house and a public beach that we enjoyed very much.

Beautiful! I've lived in the seacoast for 17 years and never knew about this hidden gem!! Reasonably priced and the room was amazing. The front desk gentleman was very nice! Within walking distance of Longsands and while it's a bit longer also of the Nubble.

We reserved a king deluxe suite which was very nice. It was on the second floor and had a view of the ocean and a patio deck. Had a seating area as you walked in with a door separating the very large bedroom. Large TV on the wall at the end of the bed.

Clean and comfortable. The weather in Maine was not too cooperative so it was nice to return to a clean and comfortable room in the evening. Friendly staff. Heated pool and hottub but not a great time to use them with all of the wind and rain. Easy to find!

Excellent place to stay, relax and enjoy your vacation time. It's located just in great position for visiting all attractions this area. I recommend this place to everyone for every time in the year to visit. The staff there was great. For sure will stay here again when we are in the area.

We had an excellent stay at the lighthouse inn. Reception was friendly and very helpfull to us. Room was well equiped, clean and pleasant. We would recommend the Lighthouse Inn to everyone who is looking for a warm stay at York Beach.

We stayed here this past weekend and the accommodations and staff exceeded our expectations! The place is very clean and the staff is friendly and attentive. Alex, his wife and their staff do a great job! The continental breakfast is better then most places. We will be back!

We stayed here for one night at the end of June and it was great! I'm a clean freak and the room was spotless and smelled wonderful. It looked to be newly renovated and I had the best night's sleep. I love the York beach area and would recommend the Lighthouse Inn to anyone.

We've stayed there multiple times, it's great. It's close to Long Sands and Short Sands and the downtown. All within walking distance. It's excellent to go to the beach all day then unwind in the hotel pool and head downtown for a night out without having to bring a car.

We stood here last week for 3 nights and loved it. We arrived before check in time and one of our rooms was ready which was a huge plus. We only had to wait maybe 10 mins for the second room. The rooms are clean, spacious with nice modern decor and refreshing colors. NO SMOKING ALLOWED YAY!!!!! A HUGE PLUS FOR US!!!!!
The Lighthouse Inn is located between Long Sands (down the block) and Short Sands (5 or less min walk) Beaches. Walking distance to restaurants, the zoo, Nubble Lighthouse etc..
I forgot to pack my son's beach toys but thankfully The Lighthouse Inn had beach shovels, buckets, and a ball we were able to take to the beach for him to play with. We rinsed them off when done and returned them.
Will definitely recommend this place to anyone and we would stay here again.

You can't beat the location... right by the beach! Room was spacious and CLEAN, staff incredibly friendly, and the continental breakfast was good. To boot, they make fresh-baked goods and have coffee all day!

Amazing and simply wonderful! From the booking process right through to our wedding stay, this has been the best experience from the most kind hearted hosts we have ever encountered. They Went above and beyond on our special day. We will come back as often as possible! Thank you for an incredible stay!

Nice, quiet and caring. A great getaway for a couple or family. Incredibly relaxing. Sadly, the hot tub and breakfast were a no go(due to covid I assume) but pool was open and was wonderful.
