Amazing food and amazing service, especially the home made pies. We tried one and before we knew it we ordered all three. Didn’t matter how full we were they were that good. Jessica (waitress) was amazing. Very patient and accommodating. Would 100% stop here again when in town.

Wonderful gem in Southwest Harbor. Hands down the best apple and blueberry pie we have had. We had lunch. The menu offered a big variety of options for everyone. The clam chowder was wonderful. The service was friendly, and we enjoyed our food. Definitely wished we had time to come back.

ICE CREAM WALK UP WINDOW!!!!
Open off season.

Super pizza with nice chewy crust and LOTS of cheese. Excellent ice cream selection. A SWH classic for decades now.

Had breakfast several times there too. Never disappoints!!
Kind and warm staff, too.

While not technically “wheelchair friendly” there is only a little bump in the threshold to roll right in. 😁

Please see menu pics I posted.

Had the clam chowder, delicious! My girlfriend had the crab roll. Also excellent. We bought one of their blueberry pies. Wow! Definitely recommend this place.

We stayed nearby for a few days to do some hiking. The Quietside Cafe quickly became a part of our daily routine by offering consistently delicious food, extremely friendly and personable service, and a homey and welcoming environment. We loved it so much we came back for breakfast and lunch three days in a row. Everything is homemade with exceptional care and attention to flavors. Every employee from the wait staff to the owners are incredible people. This establishment has definitely left its mark on these three New Yorkers and we can't wait to come back! Wishing you a lifetime of success and prosperity! Keep up the great work!

Delicious food, not overcomplicated. Loved the lobster and crab pizza. Get the pie to go if you're too full to eat it right away, it's worth it.

I came specifically for the blueberry pie which someone I met said was amazing. It certainly lived up to it's hype. I would highly recommend getting the pie from here, it was the best one I tried while I was traveling around on vacation. The crust was buttery, delicious and the blueberries were fresh.

Good place for ice cream. They also had other desserts and a full service menu. You might not notice it off the road.

Nice patio as well.

We were looking to find a place that had seafood pizza and saw the review from another person who raved about it so we figured we would give it a try. We have eaten here for breakfast and have stopped in for ice cream the past three years but never realized they had seafood pizza. It was amazing. We were stunned because in general we are very particular about pizza. We would highly recommend their seafood pizza. We had the shrimp pizza. The crust was outstanding and there was a very generous amount of shrimp. The seasoning was delicious and it was not greasy. We are thrilled to have discovered their awesome pizza. We will definitely be back next year on our return visit.

GET PIE HERE! I would go for the blueberry pie if you’re a filling person and the apple if you’re a crust person. One slice is $7 and whole pie (8 slices) is $30

We spent a week in Maine near Quiet Side Cafe and I’m disappointed we didn’t eat here until the end of our stay or we would’ve visited several times. It was a welcome change from the more crowded touristy places to eat. The waitresses (and owner) were very friendly and the food was good. Also, out of all dining out we did this place was the most reasonably priced and the portion sizes were perfect. So now the important part: The pie here is INCREDIBLE. Try the Blueberry. Try the Apple. TRY ALL OF THE PIE! Try the ice cream too. If we’re ever in the area again this will be our go to place to eat.

Great little pizza and ice cream spot off the main drag. Used to be located in the square, but I find their new spot bigger and more convenient. They have lots of other options besides pizza, but the pizza has been a win each time we’ve been in over the course of several years. Gluten free crust is a bonus! They just closed for the season, but we’ll be back in next year when we’re in Southwest.

We had a group of 7 and just stopped by to get some pieces of blueberry pie. This was the best blueberry pie we had all ever had. It was amazing a perfect crust and a perfect filling I kid you not when I say someone was lacking their plate clean! The service was over the top nice and helpful as well. This is a must stop location!

Great breakfast! We went here twice during our stay. my only regret was I wanted to try the blueberry pie but was too full after a big breakfast. The warm coconut macaroon was excellent! We’ll be back again next year!

Great food at a reasonable price. The owner, Frances, is a gem. Her homemade pies are sold through other outlets. At her previous location, she offered free Thanksgiving dinner to anyone.

From the south here, I’ve never really had seafood but I tried the fried clams and oh boy they were amazing!! Loved the service and staff. Great place to eat and have a conversation with people. Also the blueberry pie is to die for!!

Stopped after a long hike. The cheeseburgers were big and the blueberry pie and huge cookies really good! The pizzas looked nice too; we'll have to come again and try them :) Clean, family friendly place, the staff was fantastic and the prices reasonable.

Dinner for 6 on a holiday weekend was accomplished with good humor and home style cooking. Family owned and run, now relocated to a larger space, entering the town of Southwest Harbor. A number of food items, such as the lobster rolls, have their own little flavor twist of specialness. Wonderful macaroons are worth the trip just by themselves. Maine blueberry pie a la mode was thick with blueberries and big enough for large appetites. Recommended!

We decided to try this place on the second to last day of our vacation. We liked it so much we had dinner and dessert and then came back for breakfast. The food was regular American fare and everything was prepared as expected. The owners and servers were very friendly. Our only regret was not stopping by earlier in the week to dine there more.
