If your into craft beer, the liquor locker is a must visit when visiting Bar Harbor. They always have a great selection and lots of hidden gems on the shelves.

We used Liquor Locker for all of the beer and wine for our wedding, and they were great. They have a massive selection of Maine beers, and Tyler and Patrick were so helpful in advising us on the best options. Like many places on MDI, they are particularly short staffed right now and so could not do deliveries, but other than that they were awesome.

Seriously one of the best liquor stores for beer selection I've been to. The proprietor givea free craft beer samples / education every weekend to make craft beer accessible to everyone, and can talk to anyone from a person who doesn't know what hops are to tbe most ridiculous beer nerd. If you're visiting Bar Harbor and want some great beer from Maine, New England, Quebec, or damn near anywhere in the world, stop in to Liquor Locker.

Probably one of the best liquor stores I have ever been in. Most impressive is the beer selection and the knowledge the staff has to back it up. They love to talk about any liquor, are friendly, and more than willing to give you advice on pairing.
