Sawyer's Specialties is my go to place for wine and cheese. The wine expert is knowledgeable. The wine selections are extensive and have something for everyone and their price range. Sawyer's cheese selections are also varied and cheese/wine pairing is easy to do. Tasting is allowed and encouraged. If I am having guests for dinner, Sawyer's is the place to start.

It’s a walls of bottles broken only by a wall of cheese and thoughtful savory delights. There are many weighty classic bottles. If dinner is a (Wine) Spectator sport you’ll be pleased with the selection.

WAIT!!! There are delightful bottles that are cheerful and inexpensive without the Walmart experience. Ask questions and they answer. The store is so packed that your eyes will glaze over unless you know your stuff. So don’t be shy. I found a lovely kerner/pinot blanc that I really enjoyed.

Cheeses are well curated. Enjoyed the taleggio and the Lisa ramps. Breakfasted those with local toast.

What a great shop to find during our trip! The staff were super nice and helpful, we were able to get everything that we needed and the selections were absolutely delicious.
