Meghan Noe treated us like family as she oversaw all details for my brother’s funeral. This is our third experience with Fred Wood and we are grateful for the consistently great care provided.

We had a wonderful experience. My mom had been ill for so long and all of the staff made us feel like family. They were warm, efficient and professional. They were able to rent out a funeral home closer to our home, while still using Fred Wood. We could not have asked for better service out of each funeral home.

Def more expensive than others but still a nice place. I am rewriting this review because the director Sarah fixed our issue and had such a kind and professional manner with us. Thanks Sarah!

After the death of my grandmother this year my family was informed that my Grandfather who passed in 2012 had yet to be put in his Niche. FOUR YEARS have gone by that my family was not told Fred Wood still had possession of my grandfathers remains. For four years we have gone to make sure his niche is maintained and bring flowers and talk with him, unbeknownst to us he was not there. My grandmother has been to the funeral home many times on her own behalf to preplan and nothing was ever mentioned. This is INEXCUSABLE and shows a complete disregard for the dead and their families. I beg of you to patronize a funeral home other than Fred Wood, I want your loved ones to be treated with respect.

We had already purchased the niche - Also my name is different than my grandfathers so how could you possibly know who my grandfather is? It is not enough that you have disrespected his remains but now you fail to just do the right thing and simply say you are sorry and a mistake was made? Shame on you.

A friend had her dear grandmother’s service and arrangements here recently. They wanted a last thumbprint for memorial necklaces to have her close to their heart at all times! This funeral home failed them tremendously!! Very heartbreaking. The print was the worst I’ve ever seen and their response was “you should’ve seen the first one, I actually made him redo it for this one”!!! I pray no other family has to experience this.

I am absolutely disgusted with this place!!!! We trusted them to do my grandmothers service and to take her thumb print so we could have a thumb print necklace made in her memory for her granddaughters and the thumb print they took doesn’t even look like a thumb print it looks like a blurred mess!!!!! The necklace came in looking like a bunch of dots and guess what now she is laid to rest and a thumb print can’t be gotten now smh!!!!! We trusted you to handle this and to make this memory for us and you destroyed it!!! I will make sure that no one ever will ever use your services!!!!! I am heart broken and there is nothing they can do!!!! If I could give them negative stars I would!!! Heartless people work here!!!!!
