Absolute best food in Maine!!! The lobster was cooked to perfection and the mussels were pristine. Mike the bartender made the restaurant experience more than we expected. This will forever be our favorite seafood restaurant! We cannot wait to come back and visit!

LOVE that they reopened (under new ownership). Also refreshed the menu and added new options. Clearly putting work into improvements and setting it up for long term success. Food and drinks are still great (like the added bucket drink options) and the atmosphere is also intact. Family friendly place with a great bar. Also love that they kept my favorite menu item, which is the lobster curry!!

The staff there was as amazing as the food! We went there with our 1 year old daughter. Not only did they give her some free snack (oyster crackers and a few orange slices) without us asking, they also always came by to wave and smile at her. All the waitresses were so nice and helpful with our baby, not just our own server. They even brought out a live lobster to show the baby 🦞
The food was excellent and reasonably priced. We are originally from Michigan and thought prices were comparable or cheaper than most seafood places. We got two of the lobster rolls and the shrimp and scallop stuffed lobster. AMAZING! I wish we could have gone there again before we left. Still thinking about it on our 800 mile journey home.

My meal here was most delectable. Delicious, meaty Lobster roll.... the mussels were some of the best I've had. I followed my meal with a superb slice of Peanut Butter pie , also I had a Virgin Bloody Mary ... not the best I've had but still delicious.
I want to especially express how outstanding our Waitress was ... ask for Sue when you go.

Staff are super welcoming and friendly. Drinks are great, and the food was fantastic.

Great place with views of water. Clam chowdah was very good with lots of flavor. I had one of the House Specialties: Bouillabaisse. It was EXCELLENT! Plenty of mussels, steamer clams, shrimp, haddock and salmon. The flavor was outstanding!! My wife had roasted chicken which she said was very good and 1/2 chicken!

I'm a tour bus driver and I had such a great time with my customers who came from all over the US to experience New England Lobster. The staff who served us were phenomenal and very attentive.

Although I didn't have the lobster, the clam chowder and baked haddock was phenomenal. Wish I remembered to take a picture of the Blueberry cobbler but it was so inviting I devoured it. The cobbler was packed with blueberries and quote flavorful without being overly sweet. I do have to say even though the chowder was really good the potato ratio was a bit higher and clams finely minced so even though you get clams in almost every bite because it's smaller pieces, there was more chewy potato vs clam. Also even though I loved it in the chowder just to let you know they season it with dill, which isn't traditional in a New England Chowder but I loved it. Make sure you save some bread slices to have it with your chowder!

The service was outstanding and I couldn't have been in a better place to check off a bucket list item of eating a real Maine lobster in Maine. I had a huge 3.5 pound lobster that started off with a heaping bowl of steamer clams. I was in Heaven! Christine, our server was very attentive, and intuitive to our needs and desires without badgering us or making us feel like we were being rushed to hustle in another party for our table. Highly recommended!

My wife and I had an amazing time and meal there last night. Had to leave this review. We ate at the bar and had impeccable service. The server kept us smiling and well fed! In total I had 3 🦞 lobsters cooked to perfection. We go there every year when we vacation in Maine for our anniversary . Every time is awesome, we always recommend this to friends as well. This is a great place with an awesome atmosphere!!

I mean AMAZINGGGG does not do this restaurant justice! The atmosphere was great AND the food was spectacular! Our server and all employees we saw were amazing and everything was clean and well kept! THANK YOU!

We only got to hang out here for a short while, but the location and staff here were phenomenal. They helped us order food to go, and even gave my son a paper boat to play with while we waited for our food. The boat launch and dock area outside was a nice location to sit and wait, and the staff did everything they could to push our order through the kitchen so we could get the kiddo home in time for bed. Thank you staff, and the food was wonderful to boot!

Our first time having dinner there and we will definitely be back. The owner came to our table and welcomed us. He gave us some history and also shared plans for the upcoming season. The food was delicious and hot, waitress was very friendly and attentive, everything was clean and inviting, and plenty of servers to handle a full restaurant. Best meal so far this trip! We wish you well on the future remodeling ! We plan to return next year to check out the changes. Don’t change the menu or the staff they were great!!

Outstanding!!we came here years ago and came back again its just tranquil on the deck lobsters were delicious fish and chips were good. Only negative fries were greasy. But a winner 🏆

If I could give more than 5 stars I would!!! Amazing food, spectacular service, and just great vibes all around - please do yourself a favor and go now! Fresh food (my lobster Mac and cheese was amazing, lots of lobster and cheese; hubbys meal was also delicious) and delicious drinks (get the watermelon margarita!) My husband and I visited York, ME for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Lobster Pound was the last restaurant we visited on our trip and our only regret was that we didn’t visit earlier. The owner Eddy made us feel like family and so welcomed! We will be returning to Maine just because of the fabulous service and attention we received here. Thank you for welcoming us and making our trip memorable!!

We went for drinks and appetizers. The staff and the food were great. Best bloody Mary ever. Nice place to hang out and talk while enjoying great appetizers.

Went tonight and had Josh Neal as our waiter. First time for him waiting tables and he was fantastic. This young man is personable and dedicated to serving his customers. I can only hope that management notices.
I’m visiting and travel a lot, rarely do I comment on service unless it’s greatly deserved!

We had a great lunch! Our waitress was very attentive and patient with my elderly mom. The food was great!

So I've been here every year for the last few years but just to take pictures because it's always in November. This year I finally got to eat here and man, it was awesome.
Calamari was excellent, shrimp cocktail was huge and I had a 4 pound lobster. They Crack the claws which is nice if you have a hard time with them. Excellent service. Great drinks. Really happy we finally got to try it. We will be back

No reservations on a Saturday night but they took our party of 7 anyway. Service was a bit slow but they tried their best to keep us happy. Once the food arrived I do believe I had the best lobster I’ve ever eaten. The clams, the oysters, the clam chowder everything was incredible! Great atmosphere, live music, amazing scenery! It’s a fantastic place, Lord willing, I’ll absolutely be back!!
