It's a rough day the write this, as we had to put our dear Sandy down today. We have been going for years with always pleasant experiences and wonderful treatment of our animals. Today being the first time I've personal dealt with this experience I found the Dr and assistant very compassionate and professional. I will never take our animals elsewhere.

As a behavior consultant who specializes in helping pets and pet parents to feel less stressed at the Vet, I'm a huge advocate for choosing a Vet team you trust. To say I trust this team with my "big feelings" dog is a huge understatement. I only wish I could clone them for all of my clients 😊 A huge thank you to Dr Emmons and all her wonderful staff

I started bringing my dog to Eliot Veterinary Hospital as they practice consent and cooperative care. I have a dog that started having some difficulties and became very nervous. He had generally refused to go into previous vet practices, but here, I can't let him out of the vehicle until they come out and get us because he runs for the door to go inside! Dr. Emmons and all of the staff are great with him and took time to build a relationship with him. They have always given my dog top-notch care.

There are certainly closer veterinary practices to where I live, but it it's worth the trip because my dog is respected, has a say in when he's handled and he is well cared for at this practice.

10/10 would recommend!

The staff here is absolutely amazing. I have dogs with anxiety and an extreme fear of the vet. They have been patient, caring, and truly exceptional in caring for them, all from a fear free lens. I cannot say enough how grateful I am for Dr. Emmons and the staff there. Highly recommend!

The best Veterinary Hospital in Eliot and the Kittery, York, Dover and Portsmouth area. My kitties get great care here, and the staff is all so nice! My Chewbacca gives them 10 stars!

So far so good. I've been here a few times and just moved to Maine from out of state. I have two senior labs where I had two check ups, updated booster shots, had a couple of vaccines needed for the new home in Maine, dealt with an ear infection, and dropped $$$$. But that comes with pet ownership. Very friendly vet techs, very nice vet. These women are very good at what they do. After these visits my pup's ear issue has cleared up. I'm happy with this pet hospital.

I've also most recently had my other dog undergo surgery for his eyelids. The staff was compassionate and the surgery went well despite some complications with the issue. I was pleased with the updates and communication I received.

we lost our cat across the street. the people at EVH were incredibly nice when we asked them to keep an eye out. 4 days later someone found her and dropped her off at their location. They immediately contacted us and we were reunited! Thanks everyone.

Dr. Emmons and all staff are all very caring and treat my dogs with great patience and empathy. I highly recommend!

I can not say enough great things about the huge hearted people that work here. We've been having our pets cared for at this practice since 2016 or so. At every stage of our pet's lives and at their peaceful endings, they were there to comfort them and us along the way. The staff is so caring and personable, you'll leave feeling heard and appreciated. The facility is clean, warm, and welcoming, and I may be biased, but the prints on the walls in there are pretty spectacular as well!

Works well with my stubborn baby of 145 lbs that cringes at the sight of a stethoscope. The doctor and nurse were amazingly patient, and incredibly helpful. He has succeeded in shots and blood drawn a win win!

We adopted Opi from the south as a senior and have a very limited history. He had a struggle with allergies when we first brought him home and we had established 3 different vets back to back that just couldn’t help him enough to heal his constant hot spots. The fourth vet we tried was Eliot Veterinary.

Fast forward a couple of years with this practice and Opi’s allergies have been under control for quite a long time, zero hot spots. He’s also had two successful surgeries and a dental cleaning w/extraction, and many routine visits.

The team at Eliot Veterinary is incredibly knowledgeable, in addition to always making the best out of the situations we find ourselves in and always being friendly, often making us laugh while we’re there. Their estimates have always been accurate and they do a great job following up with us.

I’m confident we’ve met with every person that works there at this point; You can easily see that this is more than just a job to them, and that’s exactly why we have so much trust in their practice.
I cannot express how thankful I am for their continued support and care for our boy.

You can tell the staff here truly love animals. I just went through an emergency with them and they were as caring and professional with me as they were with my dog. The staff are knowledgeable, accommodating and communicative with owners, they've always been there when I've needed them.
Addendum... My dog is an 80lb pitbull with a head the size of an air conditioner and We've never faced discrimination here and have always been treated with kindness and respect.

Horrible!!!! Prescribed the wrong dosage of antibiotics for my cat. She got terribly sick. I spoke with them and asked for a partial refund in good faith and for their reputation. Owner refused stating they did nothing wrong. I had stopped everything but it still took a couple weeks for my cat to get better. Obviously I will never go there again and I will never recommend this business. Watch the recommended dosage when using an Rx from here. I should have known there was a problem, my cat growled at her and she never growls at anyone!!!! 😞

Dr Emmons is the most kind, compassionate and competent vet and there is absolutely no one else I would trust with my animals. She and her team do a phenomenal job.
She and her staff are caring and professional with my terribly behaved cats and always treated my pitbull like their own dog. They have cried with me and counseled me through hard decisions and embraced my animals like family. I am so impressed with the whole team, and grateful that I am able to get such top quality cafe for my furry family members.

The staff was absolutely priceless! They all have big hearts, caring, and compassionate especially during sensitive times. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

Dr. Emmons and the whole staff at Eliot Veterinary Hospital are outstanding. They treat you and your fur baby with the out most respect and patience. They care deeply about your pet and treat them like other are their own. I would not trust anyone else to care for my dog.
